It may not be meaningful to compare these two schools with such a margin in terms of average no. of 5s.  How about average no. of 5*, the average no. of 4s, etc.  I may be wrong, but I think the majority % of students of these two good schools (HY and GH) are comparable.  Any finer comparison between them may be just good for academic only.

啱, 呢屆畢業既唔係直資, 但資源上有無幫助呢, 或是分得好清楚. 學校轉直資, 學生都受惠.
