My son was also admitted the pm class three years ago. I'm a Catholic and so is my son. So I don't think the reason you mention is in fact why your child is admitted the pm class. I pleaded to the school at that time and they asked me to write a letter to the school with reasons why I wanted to change to am class. Finally, I was informed before the start of the school term that my son could transfer to am section.

I think the reason why they put my son to pm class is because there was a section asking the view of the parents whether they would accept pm class in the admission form. At that time I filled in either am or pm because I was afraid that the competition of am class was more keen. And the outcome was that they put my son to pm section.

Did you fill in either am or pm in the admission form?

我只填AM咋. 因為女女依家讀緊AM N1, 讀得都幾好, 所以我本只考慮AM.

在面試中, 我留意面試老師好想我答:"我識XXX讀緊", 或者:"我識XXX". 但係我真係無. 我係CHRISTIAN, 唔可以講大話. 佢問我係唔係教友(CATHOLIC), 我唔可以答係架. 過唔到自己個關.

佢聽完我講, 塊面好失望. 佢都好鐘意女女, 我相信係女女咁多個INTERVIEW中最好一個(根德園上午班收佢你都知佢表現唔差). 佢塊面講我聽, 我唔識人唔係咁有利.

點都好, 我唔會講大話. 就算因為咁唔收我, 我都唔可以亂咁認親認戚. 呢個係遊戲規則, 我只好接受.

Yes, as you said we should not lie. How can we face our kids, not to mention the Almighty we believe? You are correct.

Anyway, you may try submitting a letter. I think the earlier, the chance would be higher.

Don't upset la, I think if you write a letter for them to ask for am class, they will offer you later.. since too many parents are waiting for st. catherine la...
and too many parents have paid registration and actually their kid won't attent the school in September la (including me)...

其實我失望不是因為編了下午班(我也相信轉上午班應該不難), 而係因為我想唔到識唔識人既關鍵係咁大, 我覺得教友有priority係合理, 但因為識人要有priority就唔係咁合理.

不過, 我未接觸過天主教, 所以可能我有點大驚小怪又不奇. 既然選上接觸天主教, 我也會去學習.

I 接觸天主教 from primary to secondary school, I think it won't be normaly 天主教 practise...my primary school fathers treat every kids equal, no matter they are good or bad..I don't know whey they want the kids have linkage with others, may be they think parents will know them better if it is the case.. anyway..don't upset la..

不是突然的. 因為前陣子蘋果日報有個運動, 已經想參加, 奈何當天有事(唔記得咩事), 所以無去.

可能聽聞太多BB有血癌了....做母親的, 也為他們心痛.

咁樣尋日又收到RED CROSS既電話號碼, 咪打電話問下. 佢話星期二,三既中環捐血站有得驗, 咁今日咪去囉.

I've the same situation as you. Kentville has admitted my daughter to a.m. section but STS just offer p.m. section to her.

其實呢間學校真係好難入架，就算佢只收我個女下午班，我都會好開心的∼真架∼　其實好多學校都係咁，只要你識人就好辦事架∼

We are not 教友, and the teacher did not ask me whether is 教友 or know somebody in the school. When she ask me why apply the school. ""I tell them I'm not 教友, but I study in 天主教 kingergarden and primary school. In my memory found all teaher are very nice and patient. Even I' m not catholic, I want my daugther can study here. "" Then, she smile and ask other question.
The teacher is always smiing during interiew, maybe we are so lucky meet this teacher. 27/11 2:30pm ref. 23x. We are the third one during this perod.
P.S. The teacher with long hair, no glasses, she sit very near the exit. Anynoe meet the same.

"識唔識人嚮度讀" should be read as "From whom you heard about us? Do you know our teaching method? Our courses are quite difficult, aren't they? Do you have real examples?".

By the way, if I said the students in PM class have better result in P1 admission, will you feel better ?

我諗學校唔會因為你係唔係教徒而將你女女編入下午班的，我本身係catholic個女都係編入下午班，我個女嗰班有好多都係非天主教，老師對個個都好好。
你話面試時你答唔係天主教徒老師有Ｄ失望，可能個老師好鍾意你個女想你地都係天主教所以佢有Ｄ失望，唔好因為咁而放棄呢間好的學校呀！

我仔僥倖被編AM class啊！

1/冇問我"識唔識人嚮度讀"，而係問"你點樣知道呢間kinder"。
2/冇問我是否教友，而我本身冇宗教。
3/有問知吾知佢地既課程係點。我答：問過好多人，你地課程比較深，就係咁所以我想比個仔係度repeat，如果repeat又係咁淺就冇意思。佢話：係，我地係比較深，你睇下後面D中文字，係K1己經教，所以我地希望家長能夠配合，願意同小朋友多d溫習。佢又問：你做緊野架可，通常幾點返到屋企？我答：8點到。佢話：都幾夜wor。我話：但我同佢一齊D時間好quality，佢性格又可以坐定定學野，一齊睇書，老師話佢識野仲多過同班大仔，所以我覺得佢好岩呢間學校。

所以，我返而覺佢地幾睇家長可以付出多少quality time教導小朋友。

其實, 我唔開心係因為覺得judgement唔合理. 依家我明白, 係我唔岩錯怪個judgement. 我要嚮度向STS講番對唔住   

無論如何, 呢間係我一直想入既學校, 我一定會入的   果然我對天主教沒有投錯票...
