i called them this afternoon but my daughter is not on their list this round.  :(

to the mums who have received calls already, did you send lots of letters to the school or done anything special?  would like to see if they are calling by that, or they have a priority list.  :)  thanks!  if you think it's too public here, feel free to send me a pm too.   cheers!

I rec'd their call on 15 Jun, I was so so so surprised coz I did nothing (e.g. writing letter, calling Sister Kwok) since knowing that my girl was rejected. So... don't give up, hopes are always there!

I too got their call on 15th too.  Real surprised I was, as I was expecting an interview with Sis. Kwok at a later date before she makes her decision.  I was informed that the interview was cancelled owing to her busy schedule.  So don't give up hope, fingers crossed for your daughter :)

looks like the school has its own priority within the waiting list...

Guess this is part of the screening process for prospective applicant out of the waiting list, not sure.

Normally wait list will be pm classes.  The limited vacancies in am classes will be allocated to those whose elder siblings are also in am classes or with special needs.

n班?  You mean NC (which you know it is same as K1)?  It's good news for coming year applicants, there will be 60 extra seats for 2011-12, so total is 240 seats (4 am classes and 4 pm classes)!

It is the pattern due to the number of classrooms available in the premises.  There are 10 classrooms in total, so that means one out of every three years, there will be an extra classroom available (i.e. 2008/09 4 NC, 2009/10 3 NC, 2010/11 3 NC (this year), then 2011/12 can have 4 NC as the 2008/09 would have graduated).
