To my relief, Davin did ask for more homework.  Sometimes I call it activity time.  Hope this would persist.

Davin told me that during the birthday party they played what's the time mr wolf & Miss Bai caught him.

I believe Davin has a good memory but sometimes he just won't tell much about school even though I ask him.  Sometimes, he suddenly retreive something (incident or things that we did) that he experienced long time ago.

It's good to develop a good habit in doing homework so it won't be a problem later. I also do hope they continue to like doing homework and persist throughout primary school.

Will you let your son perform in March ?  Though I'm indifferent, I notice that when some classmates perform Davin also likes to perform as well.  So, I'll also let him sing & dance.

It's approaching CNY.  Are you busy at home affairs ?  Me ?  Not much different.  My in-laws will take care.  Nonetheless, I need to buy a lot of presents.

Btw, 'ring the bell' is quite effective to stop Davin from continuing what he's currently doing (like computer game or watching tv...).  In fact, he reminded me one day to use this as Miss Cheng & Miss Jill are doing this.

Brian likes doing homework as well and he always takes the initiative to choose the writing utensils and colouring tools for his work.  I used to give him some extra short tasks or games and he likes them all.  I will limit the time to 30 minutes, just to make sure that he can stop before feeling bored.

My parents will take care of the home affairs for CNY and I only need to tidy up my bedroom, the study room and Brian's toys boxes.  They will leave Hong Kong for China for a few days next week so I will take care of Brian alone.

BTW, do you mean ringing a real bell for Davin?  I will sometimes make ringing sounds to attract Brian and stop him from doing sth.  It works well.

Not a real bell.  It seems that it's good sometimes to follow what the teachers are doing at school.

Nothing special to prepare for the CNY, we're not traditional(as well as my mom, more like westerners). So I just asked my maid to tidy all the cupboards and that's all. My mom will go to Australia during the holiday so I just need to go my in-laws for a couple of hours. We'll go to BBQ during the holiday. Otherwise nothing else to do, any suggestion for the holiday?

Have you been to the AIA carnival ?  I may want to pay a visit but I just wonder if there's enough games for our kids to play.

Other than that, we may go to New Year Fair.

I haven't gone yet but I plan to go with my friends coz I like to play the rides. I won't bring Preston coz I think not much games that are suitable for him. If I take him there, I won't have a chance to play.

I don't think there are enough games for kids in the carnival.  I think a park with playground may be a better choice for Brian.

Actually, I don't need to think of the places to go during CNY as we will be busy in visiting our relatives for a few days.  We used to visit a few places in a day and stay at their houses for dinner.  It's a bit boring but that's alright to do it once a year.

We don't have any relatives to visit this year, coz my mom will be out of town and we just need to visit my mother-in-law. Maybe I'll take Preston outdoor if the weather is good and hopefully there aren't many people.

I would like to invite Davin to 'the Little gym' on 17th pm or 25th am coz it's "Bring a friend" week at the Little Gym. Preston would like to bring Davin for a free trial. Let me know if you're available.

We went to the flower market on Sat to buy some flowers & Davin even wanted to bring them back to school right after we had made the purchase.

Actually it's called 'bring a friend' week so it's better to go together with Preston. Preston is now attending Sat (17/2)6-7 which is gym and sports. If you can't make it, another time is Sunday (25/2) 9am and Preston can change one time if you choose that time. Please let me know and I need to make reservation to save a place.

Not many kids brought flowers to school yet.  I saw chrysantheum, daffodil & I bought 銀柳.

Definitely can't make it on Feb 17 (family gathering).  Possibly on Feb 25 but we have to leave at about 9:50am for another lesson.  Is that okay ?

I am glad to see you again this morning.  Please forgive me for not staying and talk to you.  As someone came to clean my house this morning, I had to go home on time and let her in.  Therefore, I left before the morning exercise ended.

My parents went back to China on Sunday and I have to take care of Brian alone for a few days.  See if we can meet tomorrow.

See.  Normally, I leave before the end of morning exercise as my husband will not stay.  Today, my husband went back to office earlier & so I stayed for a while.

Has Brian improvement in EQ ?

Yesterday Miss Cheng called me & we talked a bit about the kids.  We both notice that Davin likes schooling a lot.  How about your kid ?

I always want Miss Cheng to tell me if there's any improvement area of Davin but she keeps saying the good things.  I wonder if he's that good.  Ha !

I've discovered a very good new book from the library (What's the time, Mr. Wolf ? - the game they just played in Jan birthday party) & will be telling the story to the kids on Feb 26.  I think they will like it.

I think it's OK to leave a bit early at the Little Gym. If you have confirm, I'll make reservation for Davin so they can play together.
What time do you go to work, it's good that you can stay and watch them doing am ex. I start work at 8:30 so it's impossible for me to go.

My working hours are flexible so I can take Davin back to school & stay for a while.

I saw many chrysanthemums today.  Turns out that Davin is the only one who takes 銀柳.  And, I only see 5-6 things in the 'show and tell' basket.

I saw Preston's green flower yesterday and it's so beautiful.  Brian chose small violet chrysanthemums to bring to school and he's got a yellow chrysanthemum today.

According to Miss Cheng, Brian showed improvement soon after I started the 'training'.  Yet, he's still weak in emotional control from time to time.
