Hi, my girl (G8 08/09) has just got the result from IGCSE- ENG. Their reults are quite satisfactory even though they take them 2-3 years in advance, Pro. Li & Principal Chan are quite happy.

G7 students: PET-Merit:10%;pass:61%

The IGCSE results (G8-9) are as follows: - (A-C:Credit; E:pass mark)
70 G8 students: ENG as a 2nd language-A:6(9%), A-C:27(40%), A-E:58(87%)
17 G9 students: ENG as 1st language-A-C:7(44%);A-E:15(94%)
5 G9 students : Physics-A:3(60%);A-C:5(100%)
5 G9 students: Chemistry-A:5(100%)
51 G9students: Biology-A:8(16%);A-C:19(38%);A-E:34(67%)
54 G9 students: Maths-A:10(19%);A-C:51(94%);A-E:54(100%)

For G9, there're 1 students taking 5 subjects with 4A1B; 4 students taking 4 subjects.
Total: 2 students with 4A, one with 3A, 4 with 2A & 3 with 1A.

Hello 各位！今日係 G7 開課預備日，亞仔終於攞咗校服同知道讀邊班喇！

嚟緊呢年家教會會中小學分開，小學部有大家响度，一定繼續熱鬧，希望中學部家長會投入啲同積極啲啦！

May I know the students took the public exams 2-3 years in advance.  So will they need to take the same exam again when they reach F5 (i.e. G11)?

優中同其他中學完全一樣，即全校學生第日都要考香港既公開試。例如佢地要考會考，同日後三三四制果個高級程度文憑試。

G8/G9 考既係 IGCSE ( 英國會考 ), 程度比香港會考 ( HKCE ) 略淺 ( 英文除外 ); 提前2、3年去考, 主要目的係加快學習進程, 令學生提早有考公開考既經驗, 亦可順道測試一吓優中學生既學術水平。

到佢地G11 ( F5 ) 既時候, 就會正式去考香港會考, 同所有香港同齡既學生一較高下。

响 G11 既時候, 應該唔會重複去考 IGCSE 喇。

G10學生今年又要接受另一挑戰，佢地今年要考中文、中史(文科)同Chemistry(理科)香港會考。希望佢地可以再創佳績！

另外，呀仔有位同學(舊年上過報紙)，佢之前已經係跳級上嚟讀，今年9月開學，佢又跳級去左第二間中學度讀F.6!
