Sometimes I do drawing with him. I bought some finger paint earlier and he loves to play with it. It's some kind of white greasy thing but when you use finger to paint it on special paper, it will come out different colors. Also, I play clay with him once which I'm not to interested in. If you read anything good, please tell us.

Brian also has those magic paint, one in the form of finger paint and the other one in the form of markers.  He has only tried the markers and he loves it so much.  

Brian enjoyed doing the homework last night.  He proposed colouring the 8 circles using different colours and he also coloured the 8 sets of gifts.

Preston also colored the 8 circles and the 8 gifts too. I need to help him a bit coz it's in Chinese.
I bought some workbooks similar to this and he likes to do them very much.

Where can I buy the magic paint ?  I just shopped in Crown Books & could not find one.  I only bought water paint & some exercise books.

Davin also likes sticker book very much.  I bought some during my trip to Japan & I do think they are fabulous as you can play again & again.  More importantly, it's cheap.

Davin also coloured the circles & presents.

You can find those paints in Toys'r'us (Ocean Terminal).  The Brand name is Crayola.

I bought them from a big stationary store at Wai Chai (my collegues took me there, he got some coupons from the book fair ) and it's much cheaper than Toyrus.
Do you go to book fair? I go there every year. Before I bought book for myself but these few year after I have Preston, I mainly bought stuff for him. I usually bought books and other stuff for the whole year (just take out one by one when he's good boy). It saves a lot of $ than the usual price.

I know that book fair offers bargain price.  If you purchase a lot & those books are expensive, it's a good choice.  If it's talking about exercise book which costs about $20-40 (discount offered by certain book store), then it's also not too bad.

I have been to the book fair once long ago.  It's true that they offered attractive price.  However, it was so crowded and I couldn't stay for long.  Maybe I have chosen the wrong time.

I am thinking of buying several sets of books for Brian, some of which are pretty expensive.  Maybe I should wait for the coming book fair.

what sets of books do you refer to ?  how expensive are those ?

i do like reading & so does davin.  yet, there are so many books in the market.  i suspect our book shelf has to be at least twice as big as it is now if we really buy more.  that's why i choose to borrow from the library.

davin likes little gym a lot.  i just wonder if i should pay some $200 per lesson just to let him have fun.

Little gym is fun and for me it's worth coz Preston is not very good physically. In the summer I'd let him join swimming class so for now gym is a good choice. There are some special offer. For us, it's ~ $175/class.

Preston loves reading. Every night he doesn't want to go to sleep coz he wants to read. Sometimes he even cries coz I won't let him read anymore (~10pm).    I borrow from the library too coz he likes to read the series "Mr. Men and Little Miss"(he likes those very much, he remembered all the 77? characters when he's 3.5 yrs old). the whole set is very expensive and we usually borrow from the library. We found out the Tai Kok Tsui library is quite new and lots of new books.

A set of books called 'Milly Molly' is highly recommended by other BK Moms.  Another set is Mr. Men and Little Miss.  It costs over $1000 for each set.  Maybe I should wait until the book fair comes for attractive price and offer.

How often do Preston and you go to library?  I know it's good to let kids go to library but I am just too lazy to do that.  Therefore, I choose to buy the books.  Of course, it costs a lot!

A set of "Mr. Men and Little Miss" coat ~$2000. That's why I would not buy it and the libraby has lots of these books. I usually go to the library with him once a month (usually when the weather is not good for outdoor activities)and go to the indoor play area too. Preston likes it very much.

I do not go to library with Davin very often.  He does like going to bookstore as they are many attractive books.

My office is very close to the library & so I visit at least once a week.  And, sometimes I do go to the central library as well.

Joined the birthday party of a classmate in PNA who is studying in SC.  They used to be good friend but not much contact after then.  Met Edwin & Ching Ching as well.  Since they are no longer classmate, they didn't quite play with each other.  That's life.

We joined a family gathering with all my close relatives last Saturday.  Brian is the only kid in the gathering that he became the VIP.

I brought Brian to the Middle Road Park to play yesterday afternoon.  It was a bit crowded and Brian wanted to leave after playing for a little while.  I then brought him to walk around TST and dine there

Thankful that so far Davin likes to do homework.  I guess it's the same case for Brian & Preston.  Right ?!

Btw, I will take some days off before & after the CNY holiday.  I plan to visit the New Year fair with Davin.  My in-laws will be going to China for a few days.

The weekend was fine, just went to the park and went for gathering with my old church friends. Preston became more social when meeting new friends.
Preston likes to do homework as well, he always asks for some more and I give him some workbooks to do.
