Haven't been back for sometime (crazy work schedule, deadlines after deadlines). Anyway, nice to see more new P1 parents sharing here.
My son finally got his own seat in the school bus for the morning trip, but the atitude of the school bus people remains the same.  He needs to take the extra school bus two times a week and is always 15 min or more later than the scheduled arrival time.  
He seems to be quite happy and busy with school life.  All his homework periods are occupied except for Thursdays.   
I almost beat him up after seeing his below 80 marks in the 2nd Chinese test paper!  He has big troubles in Chinese sentence writing!  On the other hand, he got 9.5 points on his Japanese test.  This really impressed me a lot as I don't know any single word.

welcome back.  no need to be too worried.  my son also didn't get good marks in chinese test but i recognize he has been improving in chinese after the test.  i'm sure your son will be improving in chinese as well.  don't worry.

Good to hear that you are getting closer to join the TSL family.  My son is very happy at school and making different new friends including some South Asian students.  TSL will become more multicultural after your son is admitted!

Thanks ljsze.  My son is now doing the "a passage a day" on his own before we come home.  It took us by surprise that he could turn on the computer and get connected to the internet all by himself and we never taught him!
Anyway, he is improving his reading skills but he needs to practice more on sentence-writing.

Probably my son is only interested in foreign languages.  He was reading his Japanese textbook last night for 20 min.

Wow... my daughter's class has around 10 homework (including corrections) this week.  By the way, the Creative Writing regarding 60th Celebration is quite challenging!

I really don't realise that they would have Test 2 while Test 1 only finish last week.  Need Add Oil Add Oil Add Oil la!!!

I presume you are talking about the “demo English lesson”.
Is that right??

If the format for this year will be the same as in previous years, you will see pupils of all classes of P1 to join the “demo English lesson” in the school hall together with all the relevant English teachers and have a feel of the interactive responses between the pupils and the teachers.

It should be interesting to see that.

我記得好似有LUNCH睇佢地食飯....唔知我有冇記錯呢?

哈哈...我都會早D返去呀! 反正請左假, 認下D地方, 等同呀仔傾計時都知多D啦。

UM....PM電話比你OK, 不過我怕到時唔聽得電話....不如我地約係泳池對出第一張凳等啦 (近小食部果張)

係唔係要買全套樂器?  因為亞仔剛剛開始上左一堂, 都唔知佢得唔得, 有無可以剩係買partial intrument?  因為買full set 要 $1700-$1800. Thanks.

係就好囉.... 我家齊兄乃潺仔強一名....有鼻敏感同埋氣管差d....一陣凍一凍就慘。咁我咪可以連果大包游水野都唔洗帶返學囉
