我想問下係琴行教的老師可唔可以轉去上門教呢？有無D咩agreement between琴行&老師？老師會唔會有麻煩？
因我仔學的琴行D琴室同老師schedule好tight，佢地只比到Sat-中午12點比我，但亞仔9月上小學之後要返長短週，佢地又比唔到第個時間我...個琴姐姐都幾好，個仔跟佢學都幾開心同有興趣，有無人知應點做？

我睇哂呢段topic，覺得你真係好熱心，同埋D意見好中肯。我囝囝三歲開始上通利的Music Wonderland，依家剛開始上Junior Music Class。參加音樂班的原因係令佢對音樂多些認識，唔一定要學琴。不過半年前，佢已經成日對我說要學琴，仲要買座琴放在屋企。我就同佢講學琴要好有恒心，仲要時時練習。

到暑假時，佢就四歲半，我都希望佢試吓學琴，我住達之路，唔知你可唔可以介紹合適的琴行？見前文，你的琴行在土瓜灣，如果2A專綫小巴途經的話，到你琴行學也可以。但平時練習，我希望可以在屋企附近租琴，咁樣有冇問題呢？

Hello Ming2,

How are you?  Long time no chat!  How is your new baby?  Wish you everything is fine!

Can I have your advice on the progress of my girl's piano learning.  As you know, we have a private tutor for almost 1/2 year in 2003 and about half year ago we have gone to the piano co for learning piano starting from Dec 03.  Recently I discuss with my girl piano teacher about the progress and when I can enrol my girl to sit for the piano exam.  I expect to enrol her into grade 2 exam rather grade 1.  The teacher commented that my girl was clever but some foundations of techniques are needed to be improved which would required her to have another 1 year for grade 2 examination.  Otherwise, it would just pass but she perhaps could not get a good result from examination.  

With the same principle, I also emphasized the technique rather than just pass the songs from the examination and the teacher told me that this was the reason of why for my girl to spend more time for the examination.  My girl finished the step by step book 2 and the blue book of a dozen a day and she now starts the easy piano book 2 (Chinese book).  I understand it is foolish to ask you whether she is eligible to sit the exam for grade 2 just based on how many books or the grade of books that she has finished with.  However, based on your experience and comments, is it too long for my girl to spend nearly 2 years for Grade 2 exam?

The teacher explained to me that she was quite eager to train the right gesture & techniques and therfore requested my girl to practice at least 30 mins every day (my girl is 5 1/2 years old now).  My girl is willing to do so as she likes playing piano but before that she only practise 15 mins for every 2 days.  

Can you give me some comments on my case?

Thank you for your advice and I will rest assure to let my daughter learn piano with her current teacher.  I also must support and encourage my girl to practise well with the foundations.
