she is take care by maid, she can do homework and revision by herself but if u sit beside will write better.Hope she can keep it on. I need to study one/week, sometimes two days, no private time to gathering with friends.

What is your concern?  Do you mean you are afraid she cannot catch up the syllabus of the school?

Let them start first and see what they need.  Then we can arrange.

I wrapped all the books yesterday night after I got to know the class.  Your kid (girl or boy?) is in 1C.  My boy,too. Will you go to the Sat. meeting.  I will.

How will you choose the musical instrument for your kid?  My boy is probably learn Violin as he starts to learn more than 1/2 year.  But I bit like to let him change to Oboe.  He found Violin is difficult, but you know, everthings are difficult too.  He is considering to change or not.

I think I should start wrapping the books today as I know she is in 1C now, but how about the class no.?  I dont think I will go to the meeting held on this Saturday.  

As regards to the musical instrument, I hv asked my gal's opinion once.  She told me she wanna learn piano as we already have a piano at home.  I am considering to get a private piano teacher for her.

Yes, everything is difficult, most of the children found the insturment difficult to handle or boring even the piano.  Dont let your son so easy to give up.  I dont believe there is any shortcut to learn any musical insturment.

As I remember, your son will be in P.2 in coming Sept.  

Does your son learn any musical instrument in school?  If yes, is it compulsory?  What do you know about the music performance in SFA, include tutor, time arrangment, or anything you know?  Please comment if you know.

我地上年各樣野都無compulsory的,全部都好鼓勵學生去
學的.

學校好多課外活動(包括運動及音樂),都係和外面合辦的,而我
個人因為接送安排,所以我個仔的課外活動,都好小跟學校學的,暫時都係自已在外安排.所以所知不多.

今年的compulsory係點樣呀?要你地報返俾學校知?要
計分?一定要係學校課外活動選一樣??還是在音樂堂到選一
樣呢?我估我要到開學先知詳情了.

I collected some suggestions from APS parents.  They said wind instruments are better than string instrument, because some famous secondary school like wind instrument, such as DBS.  That why I like my boy change to OBOE.

But anyway, what he interests and likes is far more important than anything. Right?

For about girl, yes, you're right.  Wind instrument is more common.
