Glad to share with all of you about my daughter tonight.  

As she is going to have "Revision on the Chinese Chapter" in the coming few days , we justed reminded her that the revision was coming short.  If she wanted to get a "Square Hat" (the best grade, but she did not get this from her teacher last time)she might have to a glance at her Chinese Chapter.  (remark : we spoke out in a relaxing way and no pressure was given to her)

Her response was quickly take a look at the stuff like a flying plane, and then ask us to give her challenge in reading out some Chinese word, and she dictated it on piece of recycle paper.  She then dictated the word at where she wanted and felt happy.  

For our family, this is the way we think learning through playing.  We don't want to give her pressure la.

如以家長身份會覺得讀書是讓小朋友吸收知識,而最重要是小朋友是開心地去吸收知識.開心的讀書生活才是家長想小朋友得到的.

Hello zoemaywang,

Of course, my son wants to participate in this activity. Do you know that this activity was orginially scheduled in last July (before the summer holiday)! It was cancelled because of the bad weather (heavily rain / typhoon ??? I couldn't remember the exact reason).

Mr. Dick Yuen arranges this activity after the summer holiday again. I'm considering whether I can take my son to attend the introductory seminar on 25/9 or 9/10 (7:30 -9:00p.m.) before the visit. According to the notice received, the kids need to attend this seminar if they join the photo taking activity.

The introductory seminar is arranged at night time (7:30-9:00p.m.) on Monday!!! We live too far away from the school and how can we manage to let our kid to attend this seminar???? (Remember, they need to go to school the following day.)

Good question.  How about book a hotel room at TKO?  Oh, there is no hotel at TKO.  Ask PY to open the guest room....

I share that Monday is not a good timing for such a talk with kids.  Friday is better la...

My daughter studies at DS_1 level.

I raised that question in July after a casual chat with my good friend who is teaching at a traditional famous school in Kowloon. I didn't expect that it subsequently turned into a small storm! Maybe, it is just like what my wife always says -I'm too stubborn and always want to dig out the root of the problem.   

Anyway, let's concentrate on the good side of the issue and strive to improve and support our PA.

Always think about the "Half Water Attitude".  Rooms / chanes to improve or Getting poorer.  

Human could not be perfect, otherwise we cannot claim "in search of excellence" la.   


If you help to improve it, you are one of the achiever / creator.  If we want your daughter be creative, we're better do first, at least try our best to do so.

Moreover, the deadline for the return is this Friday(22/9). That means, for the first 2 groups, they/we will only get the confirmation on next Monday and attend the briefing on the same day. What a short notice!

I do believe that some, if not most, of the readers to the PA forum, share with my views and observations. There ought to have someone point it out. Last time it is Brother Cow. This time it is me.

This is a good chance for them to learn more about media but it's hard for parents / children to attend the introductory seminar on weekday!!!   

Is it possible to join the seminar only for parents? and Children to attend at school time?

Any parents found it is very difficulty to login PA Forum during lunch time.  I do not know what problem to block even though everything is correct (user ID / password)??

If it is technical problem, then PA need to investigate!!!

Dear all,
I agree with most parents here that the date of the seminar to be held on 25/09 is too rush. The time is not even appropriate for parents to attend as it is the prime hours for homework supervision and study review carried out for the kids. As for myself, I will attend alone if mine is fortunate to be selected under the "lucky draw".

Haha-ho, I don't find any problem connecting to the PA forum during lunch time. Unlike the bk forum, there's hardly any traffic jam there , the flow is fluid at all times!

小兒就讀FS1，學校已經安排中文每日一篇(hk-123.com)，至於英文每日一篇就唔清楚，坊間很多學校都是採用(eng-class.com) 的網上閱讀。
請問各位高年班的家長，學校會不會在這裡有什麼安排嗎，學校鼓勵予否，而你們有冇自行參加，你們對(eng-class.com)的評價。
