我想知學校個intranet內聯網有冇"家長討論區"俾大家發表意見及交流信息呢?如果冇,好唔好下次"家長小聚"時向校長提議下呢?

各位英華家長你地好, 我上次問過有關英華既資料, 我仔仔今年就要選校啦, 好希望佢入倒英華, 我地仲去過學校附逝視察環境, 校舍好新同好大.
但好擔心入唔倒, 所以想請教下/參考各位既經驗:
1) 我仔仔只有15分(首名+適齡), 又無得interview,會唔會話要prepare some profile 會容易D收, 定係純計分制??
2) 你地點收架?? 統一派位 or 自行收生
3) 我住沙田架, XX網機會大唔大架??

1) 15分應該要抽籤，我估計今年英華在「自行分配學位」 中應收到350至450份申請表，純講運氣，因為佢係津校，所以係第一輪就算預備履歷，學校都幫唔到妳，除非等「統一派位」，有人唔去註冊，或開學時有人唔去讀，咁妳可以敲下門，可能有機會收。

2) 英華2003年9月才開校，所以小二及三是投考收的，而小一，據我所知，理度有媽咪在「自行收生」階段已ok左勒。

3) 在「統一派位」有三個志願是跨網，妳可一試，如果它是妳心儀的小學，不妨放在跨區第一志願。

My boy is accepted at the first round. He has 20 points (first kid + age + religious). As I know, some parents do not get offer even though they have 20 points. However, someone told me the 5 points of religious may be cancelled.

If you have 20 points, I strongly recommend you to try. Reasons:

1. There is no old boys mark since Ying Wa was reopened recently. They temporaily closed in 196X. The old boys may be more than 40 years old.

2. Boy school: little competition when comparing with boy & girl school. (only relatively)

However if you cannot get offer at first round, you may try it at second round and you can select it at first choice at Part A & B.

One more, I had prepared the profile and academic result but they didn't accept at the first round application.

If you live in Shatin, think about the long travelling time (may be more than 1 hour per trip).

不過班小朋友真的很期待,大家都很開心雀躍!!

富昌食好yar.  Which restaurant ? No idea. I have only been there once.

我諗我都會搏一搏, 但想問多小小野:
1) 用英定中文教學
2) 係咪大多數都可以升上英華書院
3) 課程艱唔艱辛/多唔多功課
4) 我仔仔比較貪玩,又多口,所以我覺得太傳統(嚴)既學校未必岩佢

Mayc, Koalama and other moms who would attend the parent talk this afternoon,

I just called the school and was informed that the talk was POSTPONED to 22May 2-4pm due to the heavy rain this morning.

So our 飯聚 also postponed to 22May.
