Dear all,

其實我都想向妳地請教一下, 如果妳地d小朋友, 本身係好喜歡讀e.nopi的, 但係如一直超學年咁讀緊e.nopi 嘅情況下, 妳地會選擇 1)  讀得到就繼續讀, 直至跟唔到程度先停,  or 2) 停一停, 等接近番佢個學年至再讀過?

I'll let her continues...只要佢係有興趣.咪當係小組興趣班俾佢enjoy lor, only things is DON'T pushing her.  Like my girl, she's going to start K1 this Sept, but she's already taking enopi Maths and Eng class, even start from Level 1, but she does enjoy the class and has fun while doing homeworks, just treat as well preparation for her school lor ^-^

Your daughter is so smart !!  She is only 3 years 5 months old but she is able to do level 5 for Basic ??   My son started Enopi this summer too, but he started doing level 1.

我囡啱啱相反, 鐘意Critical 多過 Basic.
我囡都係鐘意追level, 佢覺得好有挑戰性...

我會睇多半年再決定, 讀開真係唔捨得停的......

Yes, my son is going to P1 this year.  He likes Basic more than Critical.  Yes, he has started multiplication and he's now at the 6x.  He's doing ok for 2x-5x.

Although he might be a little advanced compared to the P1 Maths content, I will let him continue with the course as it seems that he learns some tricks how to calculate accurately and how to solve maths problems.  He also enjoys climbing up the levels.

想問下, 在北角的centre那個比較好? 是否每個中心的收費都是一樣? 因為我見炮台山那間要$920一個月, 點解會貴左?

My daughter has already ceased going to Enopi.  She still has interest in it, but I think the math part is easlier than the critical part.  It is because once you learnt and understand the math, 1 digit, 2 digits, 3 digits are the same.  However, critical thinking is NOT the same.  It is very much depends on the maturity of the kid.  How many things he/she experienced, and this is not what you can teach them, it has to be experienced or found out.  So, giving me repeated exercise books is not an option, so I just wait until she is a bit older to understand the critical thinking part.  I hope this helps.

Every level has 30 books.  From #1 to #19 are basic math, and from #20 to #30 are critical thinking.  So, basically, the teacher will distribut more math books than critical thinking books if the kid's level are similar in two sections. Main reason:  math do need practice.  Since learning math is a bit easier than learn to think (critically), therefore, most of the kids can advance in the math part BUT not the critical thinking part.
For my daughter, she completed her Level 12 Math and Level 11 Critical Thinking in age 6, but the critical part becoming harder for her.  The teacher would not allow her to move forward to Level 12 Critical Thinking b/c she is not capable yet. So, by giving her repeated exercise books is wast of money and time.

I prefer #1 as long as the child has interest in it.

多謝妳的意見, 其實我都持相同意見, 我都唔捨得唔學, 因為個囡真係好鍾意, 我只是怕在critical thinking會同樣遇上困難啫, 因為導師比左level 10 我個囡做, 初頭果2頁, 我都開始要教佢做喇, 好在佢都明跟住後面自已做, 所以我見goady有咁嘅經驗, 我都開始有d憂慮再深d唔知點算。至於basic, 個囡就冇乜問題, 如果因為只係critical 而停學, 真係唔想。

我囡報咗比賽, centre 派咗紙俾我.. 係D題目Grade 1 (P1-P2)範圍,
其中 calculation 有1題會係 level 11 的.
Critical Thinking Questions 有1題會係 level 10.
Word Questions 就有1題會係 level 10 的.

Hi, Splash,
I'm considering to apply the Enopi class in Olympic City phase I. Would you please share the comment on this centre?
I noticed that there is another Enopi Centre in Hoi Wang Road, did you try or visit that one before?

My son is 7 years old and he used to study Kumon until "C", but we quitted in Summer as I think it's just repeating the basic calculation, like the calculator. I want to strengthen his critical and logical thinking capability also. But frankly, his weakness is speed. If Enopi train up the kids on Maths calculation speed??

Appreciate the others sharing and opinion and thanks.

After almost 4 months of learning Enopi, my son has improved a lot in both accuracy and efficiency.

我都諗住係考P1前, 叫centre出番張cert. 同寫reference letter, e.nopi 有critical thinking 文字題, 重思考, 我諗放埋入profile都o.k.卦。不過佢地出張cert.都好似要成幾個月咁耐, 妳最好預先同centre溝通下先會好d。

My daughter also study in Olympic.  She started from Jun.  She got Level 2B (14,15) and Level Level 2C (29) this week.  Sometime they gave 1B & 1C, sometime 2B & 1C.  I am not sure if it is appropriate to her.

I am thinking to keep on or stop.  
How do you think?

我囡KG同學仔學緊kwikmaths, 我囡一路都係學enopi maths
同學仔媽咪話:上咗小學計數要快, 考試先做得晒D paper??
我本來都想轉讀kwikmaths, 但有一次佢地2個小朋友, 玩計數.... 我囡仲計得快過佢同學??... 所以好明顯enopi 都唔慢..
但係同公文比較就 no idea la..???
公文要計時, 照道理應該不會太慢吧??

enopi maths - 教小朋友 "make ten" 及數字組合.

1, 9 = 10
2, 8 = 10
3, 7 = 10

9 = 4 & 5
8 = 3, 3, 2

小朋友 明白咗, 自然會識得 砌D數字, 好似玩積木咁, 都會快... 起碼唔使用手指...
我有朋友囝囡讀公文數, 好似有教 "合十法"... 應該差不多??

都係韓國數, 同enopi 好相似... 歷史都差不多, 我已經去"JEI" 8卦過, 佢地話enopi 去到初中, JEI 可去到高中, 每月電腦會出張評估report.

我諗住如果我囡要repeat 就轉讀依個??
