唉，風雨同路、軒媽媽，
我承認最後是動了氣，但若您們由個case一開始睇落去，一路來我都是好平常地提出我一個好簡單的查詢，希望其他家長或PA committee可以俾料。點知等了兩個多月，才得到一個咁樣的回覆，到我貼上我的回應，結果引發多位members提出PA forum的功能，是要容納正反方面的討論，及如何如何收發資訊，如何如何做家校橋樑。
但你看看有關人仕有隻字回應嗎？到這一刻也沒有！真是好失望，才有感而發。

Hi all,

      我亦想試試參加星期六的家長團契, 但我家的姐姐放了大假回老家--菲律賓, 請問家長團契是否可帶小朋友出席, 如不能的話恐怕要待組組回來才可參加了。

      另外, 我們都參加了 PA, 但未有 ID 等 log in 資料, 不過看了通告好像不星期某一天的晚上會有 PA 會有家長會, 我和老公都會到, 到時可能會見到大家。

     昨晚看到有關聯課活動的通告, 有很多活動, 不過最特別的是 DS 有游泳課, 不知是在哪裏上呢?

Logos students are very happy with their studies, they treat it as "plaything" - not much pressure at the junior form, but will GRADUALLY increase it.  You know, our kids have to grow up and attend a STANDARD / OPEN examination in future.  They is always a common standard.  

So, in my understanding, Logos' approach is to arouse the kids' interest in learning, enjoy studying and got knowleges / skill with pleasure at the beginning, and then GRADUALLY screw up the bolt and give the kids an achievable standard to stimulate them to improve themselves.

Logos parents, would like to invite your sharing.

至於新加入家長會而未有login id, 照我記憶, 要待PA理事們整理資料後, 他們會send e-mail通知您.

Hi 20101101 /YYL,

finally i got a chance to talk to a student who won the LA awards in the secondary school for the year 2004-05, indeed there was scholarship for them.  the student did not need to apply or what, the school called them up directly on this and told them that the scholarship would be deducted against the school fee.  in fact, it didn't happen but was handed in a cheque towards the school's year end.  that was two years ago, i am not sure if they have any for 2005-06.

did your kid do very well last year?  do you mind to tell us his/ her form ranking?

Dear tinatam,

My girl is in Logo's FS1 this year. Last year I had applied for both GT & Logos and the result was both OK but GT only could offer us the MK campus. Since our living area is far from MK, we didn't consider GT's offer. But even if GT had offered us the TKO campus, we would still choose Logos since it was our 1st choice from the very beginning.

Now, after my kid has a fornight in Logos, we don't regret our choice as she seems to be so happy in school. Indeed, she even laugh in her dreams, almost every night. She says that she really enjoy the school life in Logos. She has been a happy child since babyhood but now she is even more happier than ever. We believe that we have choose the right school for her.

However, please also consider your own situation before making your choice. Confidence and trust in the school are very important. Therefore, we should consider carefully whether the schools' methods and ways suit yourself and your kid.

Hope you could choose the most suitable one for your kid.

Since my daughter had some emotional problems at that time (that was why we made the assessment), and there were some observations and recommendations made by the psychologist, we did pass a copy of the assessment report to the homeroom teacher for his reference. I don't know whether he had recorded it formally or not.
