As read from the messages posted, it seems to me that Headmistress LEE does know which 150 kids she wants BEFORE the 2nd interview and the 2nd interview only serves as a "final check" to see if the kid (or the parents) are really okay.   Isn't it a bit "odd" and a waste of time?  If it is really the case, that means SPCC assesses candidates highly based on their background and portfolio, isn't it?

We didn't mis-interpret what the principal said.  That is exactly what she tell us!  We were very shock when she said that, we both know we won't have any chance.... She didn't mention anything about  ...

My elder kid is currently studying in the school and I can tell you that most of the kids are from ordinary families. I personally know a lot of them and everyone gets along fine because there is one thing in common - majority of the parents are very hands on and care a lot about the kids' school life. That's the reason why Principal Lee wants to meet all the parents personally to make sure that they share the same vision as the school.  Of course there are students from rich families too but the parents are also very humble and easy going.

我都覺得系,因為1st in已經系副校同校長見,其實都好容易揀到,只不過作為果50個,如果無心理準備會慘d囉

Does it really mean that Headmistress LEE already has her  150 "心水" before the 2nd interview? To confirm 105 (the maximum) "related" kids and "45" (the minimum) "unrelated" kids BEFORE the 2nd interview should not be easy, shouldn't it?  As collected from some friends of mine, Headmistress LEE has been very honest and sincere in meeting with parents in the 2nd interview.  How strange!!

Very soon, we will know whether our feeling are true or not.  

At least, 2 pairs of parents ( we are one of them) here feel that they won't have any offer.   I will keep you all post on the final result after the 22/11.  

I must admitted that Principal Lee is kind and honest lady.  She is very kind to us.  She just too kind to let us know we won't have any chance......so that we won't have any fasle hope......

同事應該有3.5-4萬一個月，老婆係細仔出世後做全職媽媽，無工人，無海外旅行，同事帶飯返工食，食飽齊行電腦場，超級節儉，我諗佢應該有申請資助，但係佢又無提，所以無詳細問。我小朋友考呢間時都有擔心過學費問題，佢只係話唔通個仔咁叻考到都唔讀咩，當晒棉被都要供啦，唔係第日個仔怨佢。到二仔時，佢又話唔通比大唔比細咩，到三仔考唔到呢間派左問唔錯津小，佢仲話安落晒！

Hello parent, what exactly makes your feel you have no chance during the interviews? Can anyone share more please?

During our interview, Ms Lee did not mention any school life , and just spent 10 mins on us, she asked very general questions such as how we teach our kid and our expectation etc,

so what did she say to make you feel so down??

I don't think it need to 懷疑.  I believe SPCC is not too concern on the money because they already have a lot of wealthy people to study.

If you go to their admission seminar and see they spent  quite a lot of time to explain this subsidy scheme, you will know they really don't mind..

I believe that the school will choose smart and well-behaved kids.  I don't think a kid will be get in only because he is rich.

Rich kids with more training resources may have advantage.  However, I am sure there are smart kids from all walks of life.  

We don't expact we can have an offer because we can FEEL it from the 2nd in.  As feeling is personal, I will be very happy if we are wrong.

Hello, a friend of mine spent 30 min on the second interview, but mine just 10 mins, and the headmistress did not tell me anything about the school life, will it mean I dont have a chance?

Ms lee said our kid was well taught and sweet, hope she will get a chance for admission :)

Hi parents, please explain what is group1, 2, 3, 4 at SPCCPS? what are the differences? how kids are grouped?

點解我會咁講 ?? 因為有朋友嘅情況同你相類似，佢囡囡讀緊小一 (不錯女津校)，又係舊年唔收，今年再報名有得 2nd interview，如果收咗決定重讀，囡囡會由細女轉大女，特別嘅係，因為佢重有一個細女，如果家姐唔轉校，細妹將來肯定 200% 必入 (不錯女津校)，如果轉校，就要擔心細妹將來，未必可以同家姐同校，而又未必可以入"硬"不錯女津校 (雖然機會也不低)；除此之外，其實重有好多佢哋屋企嘅背景、人脈關係 ..... 等等所有佢、佢囡囡嘅條件，一切都只有佢自己先最清楚 !!

作為一個 SPCCPS 嘅家長，我當然支持你囝囝轉校 (重讀) 啦，至於值唔值得 ?? 我真係唔敢俾你一個肯定嘅答案 !!
