他跟我說ms. hung會用貼紙獎勵,100分又有一個(定兩個? 見他簿面得一個), 90分以上都有一個,集齊5個有禮物. 他還說媽媽如果我有5次100分,你可唔可以送D勁D既咭比我. 我當然say yes la.

phyllis, 我都要返下午班的,放工返到家他們已經睡了. 好像昨晚,他便滔滔不絕的跟我傾計,10點傾到成10點半,自己睇完鐘都話"咁夜,唔傾了".  唉! 我的親子時間太少了.

無錯呀,學校今年的閱讀快車計劃,成效唔錯呀,因為呀仔話初初無咩野人去,好多位坐的,但而家已經常滿坐,要加位呀.

我呀仔上星期仲去書局入左好多貨,日日都好重咁拿返學校去閱讀快車呀, 不過佢話好多小朋友都係三數個一齊儲去換禮物的....hehe...小朋友真係好天真的.

若果學校可以安排下,書本一起看,各小朋友送一些書本,放在禮堂,集合一起,小息供各小朋友隨便閱讀就好了,一來唔駛自己買太多的書,二來小朋友唔駛咁重日日拿回校.

據我所理解,學校分三類閱讀時間的.

1) 每星期兩天上課前/小息,定為全校閱讀時間(包括老師),單月為中文書,雙月為英文書 (自己拿回校的) >>規定的, 若小一小朋友開頭唔記得bring,可以問學校借, 遲些就好似要記名的 (這個唔多肯定)

2. library lesson,就係除了上library lesson可以借書外, 每級在指定時間都可以去library借書/還書.

3. 今年先有的閱讀快車時間,就係小息/lunch係禮堂劃分左一個區域,供學生坐下自已閱讀, 有服務生在他們閱讀時,會派發貼紙,儲夠貼紙,可到library換領禮物....有通告介紹過的,自願性質的.

Dear janetc
I asked my daughter and she said that it is 1 sticker for 1 time of 100 mark in Dictation.

I found there is a statement for Chinese Dictation not only words for last Dictation.  I think Chinese Dictation would become more difficult.  Cheer up and try the best!!!

Hi tinatam,
I know that there is 1 of 4 classes in every grade are Mandarin speaking Chinese class, except P.1.  Students are selected by teachers to enter into that Mandarin speaking class.  This is what I heard.

請問有冇人知道中文每日一篇點樣可以知道有冇做錯呀?
次次阿囡做完就只見到等同篇幅字數既分數, 點可以知道有冇做錯咗呢?
有冇做錯又會唔會影響分數既呢?

做完題目之後, 要submit, 而後它會叫你比那篇文章的作者評分(1至10分), 而後再submit, 之後它便會幫你評分, 有分數睇倒過喎, 而且在"龍虎榜"會看到各人的分數, 你再搵清楚...

Hi, all SFA moms

I'm going to apply for SFA for my boy and will submit the application form tomorrow! My friends said my boy is suitable for SFA tradition as he is good in academic and is a fast learner.

I learnt from BK that SFA will ask kids to do 10+ pages worksheets during the interview, I think my boy is capable to meet the challenge. Other than the written test, will SFA hold individual interview for kids?

Does SFA accept portfolio? How many applicants last year?

Dear Junko,

According to the past records, there are around 1500 children applied for 160 places (40 students x 4 classes in P.1) and almost 1 out of 10 children will be accepted by the school. However, same as other private school, many of the successful candidates will also be accepted by other famous school. As a result, they will give up their places. so many P.1 student actually admitted by the school through "door knocking" or second interview on Aug each year).

For profile, I don't know whether necessary or not, but I hadn't presented or submitted anything during the interview. For my case, I didn't prepare anything and even didn't know that the child had to do 10 papers during the interview. However, I remember that she was quite happy after the interview.

Hi Junko,
As bluediamond said some of the successful cadidates finally be attracted by other famous schools.  Hearsay, SFA would reserved 100 seats in waiting list every year in order to subsitute the children who gave up the seats.
Successfully "knocking door" are only minority.

各位小一家長：

你們有無入去現代數學網，又有多一個網上練習做啦，不過，好在都有遊戲玩，邊玩邊學習，無咁悶，不錯呀，入look look。

昨晚小女在玩網上數學練習和遊戲而比平日遲睡，今早又早起床去出席普通話班，到達學校，才知今天不用上活動班，直至18/11，亦有不少家長與小朋友到校呀。

校外有人龍交07年的小一表格，回想小女上年的情境，記憶猶新。
