上年 first round 係 group interview, 小朋友一齊玩 puzzle, 跟著老師問問題，不過家長冇得入去。

每年唔一定有精英班,如果有都會係小四至小六至分啦,仲要視乎果級average 成績,校長話唔想分班後,強者越強,弱者以為係自己班好掂唔發力,好似今年小四小五就冇分,因為成績唔係距離太大,我呀女佢小五同小六兩年都有精英班1班,佢小四時有2班精英班.(讀精英班其實好辛苦,係精神上喎,d學生競爭成績好似比賽咁 )

見你們之前給予過禁多寶貴意見，真的要向你們請教下，我仔仔今年入左TSL讀P1，而我又要返工，想請問下各位前輩，向黎緊的TEST以及考試應該點幫助仔溫習?我真係唔知從何入手(每日放工D時間已經好緊迫)，請問有何心得，教下我哩D在職媽咪，因為真係無時間認識其他媽媽請教心得 :-

我都要返工，而個仔係唔會自動化那種。
要怎樣溫書，其實要視乎:
1。你的期望 (是樣樣第一，100分;抑或pass就得; 抑或要80分)
2。小朋友的讀書態度及是否明白(i mean really understand)教左d乜。

中文 - 要識寫字(go through 所有已教的課文)唔好寫錯字，閱讀理解要明文章講乜，同埋造句(可以預備些例句，會出返曾經練習造句的句子，不會突然出些未做過的)

GS - 要明白內容，要將有關圖/字"連線"，供字填充(不會出不供字填充)，= 抄o岩spelling。或供字選擇題。

Maths - 要識做+明textbook，workbook，worksheet，new maths 內各練習。p1通常最弱是文字題，eg要知道是計算altogether，或difference，= 要識得解條題目。文字題少於50%。

我要求不高，所以個仔p1 term 1 test，(係佢歷來第一次 written test/exam)，總共只go through了2次 - 第一次詳細解釋，第2次快讀。
有時間，就俾幾題課外練習佢做，扮test。
這樣溫習，當然不能期望有100分。但他總算是明白課文內容，到時考得怎樣要看他是否小心。

tsl去年的考試+term test，並非連續考數天，而是考一兩天，隔一兩天，再考一兩天，中間還可以有時間溫書。

多謝你的回應噤詳盡，對我來講真係好有用，依家起碼知道大概點幫佢溫習。另外我還想問下，是否一定要購買學校那套三件頭的風褸呢?

You can either buy the anorak (三件頭的風褸) or school blazer.
The anorak is vvvvv warm, enough for the coldest day, and vvv cost-effective.
Actually I quite like it.

From what I see, P1 kids usually don't perform well in the 1st test. However, they improve a lot for the 2nd one.

Definitely you have to take revision with them before test/exam.  However, for long run, should train up up your kid study by himself/herself. If they realize that you worry too much, they will be too dependent. Also, it would somehow hurt the parent-child relationship if you force them too much.

For P1, most marks are deducted from 'CARELESS mistake'. Agree?

Fully agreed.

My girl always makes careless mistakes, though she knows the answers when you remind her to think twice.

But I think this should be improved gradually over time.

Dear all,

RE.: Math Test
Please remind your kids leave the bonus question and try to do all other questions first.  I didn't remind this to my daughter and thought that this is a common sense for a primary student.  The outcome was she could'nt finish her paper in last Math Test as  she spent too much time on extra bonus question. :evil:

Bonus question is the last part of the test paper, isn't it?

I find that no matter how many times your kids review the paper, they can rarely find out their mistakes. Whatever they write on the paper, they already get the perception that the answers are all right.

Sometimes I spot careless mistakes in the assignment, I won't let my daughter know. When teacher makes a big 'CROSS', she can remember firmly and avoid the same mistake in test!

My friend (a teacher) did comment that if a kid would never make CARELESS mistake in tests, he/she is not a kid!!!!

I find that no matter how many times your kids review the paper, they can rarely find out their mistakes. Whatever they write on the paper, they already get the perception that the answers are all right.   <------係呀, 我個女都係, 直式同橫式可以係兩個答案架, 你問佢點解會咁, 佢仲會話, 無理由架喎, 我check 左架啦喎, 你話係唔係想嘔血!!  我都唔知幾時佢先會無咁大意呀
