Hi, KenBaBa, deniset, qq_dad & other Logos parents,

Sorry, get you all confused.
I'm not the one who suggested Logos parents should discuss school affairs only in the PA forum, and not in BK here.

On the contrary, I had a bad experience recently when I posted an enquiry on a school issue in the PA forum. To me, the response from the PA is discouraging.

If the PA does not improve its role as a communication channel between the school and the parents. I think we better stay here to share our comments and views about the school life of our kids and whatever, instead of moving to the PA Forum.

Thanks for Deniset's remind that I was able to rush up back to the hall again after complying some formalities at Rm 215 to go for the vocal test. I was allocated to the Bravo team ( Bass team ).
Next time please introduce yourself therefore I could loacte    and shake shake you ...   
I think I will go for the choir practice as far as possible.

It's a good idea to chat at the 2 forums, depending on the topics and the correspondents.

I'm not sure which weekend could I go or not go not until a few days prior to the weekends.  Is the next meeting scheduled on 14-10-2006 ? If it is so, I shall tell at around 11 or 12 Oct 2006.  How to identify ... ?  Let's play the seek-and-hide in the meantime       .

Just finished interview last Sat and I have one question :
there is going to be over 1,200 students for the primary school.  How can such a small campus put all those active kids in. ? Perhaps there are some higher forms students re-located to Secondary school campus, but will it affect the Sec. School , too

Could you let me know what language is used for all subjects for DS 1 - 3?  Full English, Full Putonghua, or still partially?  Including Maths, Science, Social science, Religious, Art, etc?

I felt the vibrations during the parent's meeting on last Thursday. I didn't realise that was the earthquake in that moment. I just wonder why the construction work was still onging so lately!!!       

In order to increase children's interests in English reading, I'd like to suggest the PTA to join the Scholastic Bookclub. Currently, most of the international schools and elite/dss schools (SPCC, YW, CKY, EC, ....) in HK have join the Scholastic Bookclub. There are lots of the good / popular English fictions and readers (usually ~40-50% of market price $) available each month in different catalogues which suits different reading groups. On one hand, Parents can order books for their kids at a very low $, whereas their classroom can get free copy of books/materials/ rewards for their library corner.  

For example, a set of Magic Tree House (book 1-28) or Junie B (Book 1-26) costs only US$39.9.


Do you all support my suggestion?
