呀,各位,

有冇見到學校lift 口附近notice又出咗派位最新情况,我望咗幾眼睇落好似有d唔同咗咁.

I went to the instructment concert last Friday too. Students seem enjoy it even though they didn't sit properly.

ChuChu, may I know when will school give the scholarship payment? I got a letter in June but it doesn't state when will it be distributed. You know, I need $$$ urgently after spending so much in buying text books.

Haven't got the circular for 30th parents day. I called and for junior class, it should be from 10:30-12:00.

Don't expect it will be a big amount of money, usually under $500. My son got it last year, only about $200 for each subject. He bought a few books he liked and a vcd. That's all.

Thanks moyan. Although it is not big amount, it is an encourage for kids to work hard!

I would let my daughter buys whatever she wants as it is her reward. At the same time, from what she chooses, I can understand her better.


Thanks James&Simon. Last year, when there was e-circular, it would mark on the assignment book. That's why this year, I overlooked it.

另外，你們的子女在開學至今能適應英文的教學嗎?(因我的囡囡只讀普通幼兒園，英文程度不高)
還有，學校的課外活動收費昂貴嗎?

Scholarship 通常按每科不同名次來分配, 有時可能Art 的第三名會多過Math 第一名的, 如果多幾科, 都有千幾元的, 去年,我隻B攞咗三千幾, 但去年沒有break down list, 所以不知怎計算, 大約在Christmas 派發, 其實幾好呀! 用他們努力的成果, 去挑選他們的禮物, 小朋友會更開心, 更有鼓勵性, 所以, 大家努力阿!

你們的子女在開學至今能適應英文的教學嗎?(因我的囡囡只讀普通幼兒園，英文程度不高)
- 我的兒子以前讀那間幼兒園，英文極少極淺易。入學前看oxford reading tree stage 1 也要幫。第一學期成績遠遠不及大部份同學，但term 2已大有進步。(by 20% )。現在已可以自己看stages 5，6，7。stages 8，9 仍要幫。

學校的課外活動收費昂貴嗎?
- 每星期有一天，在上學時間最後一小時，上自選的課外活動，免費。
- 另外可以選擇在上學時間以外，參加些運動方面的課外活動，及西樂器/中樂器班，(參加與否不拘)，收費我覺得合理。

9月30日活動是甚麼活動?可否"偷雞"入去聽聽?要簽名確應為中一新生家長嗎?
- 老師見家長，派接送証，談任何有關學校/學業問題。家長要去個仔/女間班房，偷雞入去聽都無乜野好聽。

happymtr: your B are very smart.

I do think the value of award is not so important but it does motivate the kids. Encourage the kid in a postive way is vital. You know, my daughter is so proud of herself that she could get on the stage.

My daughter likes the school a lot as she said teachers like to chat with students. She even drew thank you cards to teachers. Also, teachers reply our request promptly.

For P.1, no English exam. So, even though kids are weak in English, they won't be scare of the subject at all.

Let kids enjoy the school life is the most important!

你仔仔好叻呀!他在家會否多說英語?你認為他在英語的聽、說、寫能力又如何?
我申請這間學校的原因是希望能提升囡在英文讀、寫、聽、說的能力呢?

很好笑 - 他自己玩時，也會喃喃自語 : " ....put ...." ".....carry....."
試過發開口夢，講了幾個英文字  

分數多了20%，主要是個"base"夠低  

他也喜歡和french students 玩，所以聽/講慣了，不會覺得困難。簡直不當甚麼一回事。
總之夠膽講就得。general studies，maths，computer studies，全用英文。(但老師有用中文解一遍，以防小朋友p1 和p2初期不明白。) =每星期上10堂中文(小二可選普通話或廣東話中文每星期8堂+普通話每星期2堂)，其餘約40堂上英文。

寫方面，約每星期寫1-2次journal，老師出題目(為該輪教的事物)，任寫約6行，及畫圖。(不會改punctuation，grammar，tenses，spelling) 目的是encourage 他們寫心中所想。每次最多蓋4個印，老師又會有些comment (eg I like xxxxx too !!)
另外每月有creative writing : 全部學生(p1-p6)收到同一張紙，有幅畫了小許輪廓的框，任畫任寫。

p1無英文書textbook，通常每天要在class library內選一本書看，寫簡單閱讀報告 (畫出最喜愛的人物，comments，喜歡該書程度)。

他的能力，ok 啦，最重要是不怕講，寫，讀/看。不抗拒，就不當怎麼特別。

definitely 愉快學習，老師一樣會嚴，會管束，會罰，但較絕大多數傳統學校寬鬆。

你所說的都很吸引，亦很適合我囡(因他很喜歡drawing)
只要他們不抗拒聽、講、讀、寫，我覺得已很成功了。
希望interview時表現會好點。
