Long time no chat...

Yes, my tummy is bigger than a basket ball now, so I try to avoid anywhere with crowds, especially with young children, I move slow and block their way...   :

And Tessie's little friend's name is Peter, and she can't live without him, so she gets a little worried when Peter is exposed...       And since Tessie knows that another baby is joining the family soon, she becomes  詐嬌 more often...  but she is OK, she talks to my tummy all the time and she named the baby 贝贝.

So I heard that the Birthday party was really fun, even Daddy had fun too.  Sounds like everybody else was having fun too.

我仔仔九月讀k1, 但仲未搵到校車接送, 請問有無保母車介紹呢? (觀塘>何文田)
實在有點愁, 唔通要搭巴士? (17號) 如果搭地鐵去到旺角, 又有無車上學校呢?

Hi Radiomama,
You should try to call PakBo that is the Victoria's School Bus Co. I remembered I've seen Kwun Tong picking up station in the school bus application form. You've better check with PakBo.
Alternatively, if you take MTR to Mongkok, there has a red light bus terminus at Fa Yuen Street near Kam Sing Cinema that is direct go to Hoi Man Estate terminus (just nearby Victoria School). That's so convenience.

唔使擔心,"百寶"有校車到觀塘區的, 你打Tel:25778137搵劉太問吓, 佢地應該會有人在註冊日幫學生登記的. 不過要留意8月開學的新生要到9月先開始有校車服務, 你要諗定到時搭咩車.

I don't think 5 years is too young, Tessie started joining group lessons last year, and she starts to enjoy and not scared.  This year, we have join a small group with only 2 kids and she is managing to float now, I think this year, she will probably manage to swim without any tools.  Nowadays, the swimming teachers use lots of toys and tools to help the kids and when I observe her, she really enjoys it.

I felt sweet too as TY bought back a recycle bag with her painting on it, she said since Mom likes the color pink, so she choose to draw with pink...  very sweet...

Agreed with SteffiGraf, don't give up and keep contact with PakBo.
You made me remember two years ago I had same trouble with you. I had no choice and everyday brought my son to school by taxi and my maid picked him up after school. Of couse, I often gave call to Mrs Lau, after two months, PakBo gave me a call that their school bus will come to my estate.

My Edison just started to learn swimming a month ago in TST-YMCA. He looked so enjoyable and having fun with other kids.
5 years old is very suitable to learn swimming. Let them enjoy the water fun in this summer.

Dear all,

Hope you all had a great time yesterday!

Nok Nok was very excited last week too.  He told me he's going to give me "secret" present on Sunday and when I went home on Friday, he immediately gave me his drawings and art work

I was also wondering what activities we should arrange for nok nok this summer.  Last year I joined a group swimming lesson for nok nok and he was totally scared (as you all know him)  :cry: This year I still don't know whether I should enroll him in a class or have private lesson.  I went swimming with him last week (1st time this year), first he was just liked a koala and after one hour, he could finally swim without holding me, but of course with the float.

Hello! My son will study K1 in Victoria (HMT) in the coming term, so I come in this forum to have a look......and see you mention about Tessie learning swimming and enjoys a lot. May I know where does Tessie learn swimming? and when will be the best age to start? My son will be 3 years old this Sept, will it be too early to start this summer?

你哋有冇參加6月嗰個表演? 除咗要綵排同比服裝費外, 又要買對白布鞋, 至慘係下星期二要過銅鑼灣嗰邊綵排(返學時間), 有校車接過去, 但就冇車接, 所以11點又要到銅鑼灣接仔!
你哋今個暑假有冇安排到乜嘢活動比啲小朋友? 今年唔知點解仲未有乜興緻, 暫時只係報咗個欖球班(係Cyrus自己要求既!)!

For the show in June, we've joined the choir.  We don't need to pay for the costume, just need to find some similar colour clothes.  However, we'll need to attend 3 practices in Kornhill!  It's all Friday night 7-8.  Hai, it's headache b/c it's so far away and don't know if I should let nok nok eat before or afterwards. (plus I need to work on Friday).

Rugby sounds fun!  I think Cyrus will like it

I also haven't enrolled nok nok to summer activities yet...still thinking.  Most probably we'll arrange 1 week summer bible school.  I'm looking at 1 course particularly on developing the interest in reading.  For sports, we're still thinking about swimming.  Nok Nok is still quite scared, I'm trying to swim with him more and I notice he's gradually (slowly) improving.  He just need more time...

Any other recommendation?  Have you guys tried LEGO course?
