I also applied KM for Preston in K1 and got accepted. But after I went for the interview, I did not like the school, old and small. Not sure about the teaching. Maybe you can consider other schools as well.

Hi Lydia,

Thanks for inviting us to join Preston's party. Hei Ching really enjoyed it and loved the small gift. We will arrange a birthday party for Hei Ching in August and hope all of you can join also. BTW, it was quite surprised to see Miss Lai and Mr. Shawn in the party. The kids were so happy to see them. I feel quite impressed for these 2 teachers as they are willing to join the kid's activities in their rest days. It cannot be done if they don't like the kids. They are so lucky to meet these good teachers in the kindergarten life.

I was also surprised to see them.  Davin however felt a bit strange (seeing them out of a school environment) but he was also willing to talk to them a bit.

Dear moms,
Thanks for coming and helped to make a memorable moment for Preston. Actually Preston wanted to invite the teachers (also Ms Cheng but she couldn't make it), so I let him write the invitation cards. I didn't expect them to come too, I was quite surprised when Ms Lai and Mr. Shawn told me that they'll come on the class observation day. They're so nice and they did stay for quite a long time (not just come and go). The kids are really lucky to have these teachers.

I will join the joint school sports day but I will not be a volunteer.  

It's really cold today and it's raining now.  Brian is too thin that his limbs are still cold even if he's put on clothes.  I hope he is strong enough and does not catch a cold.

Doris, I have Davin putting on a scarf this morning.  I think it helps.  It feels colder if there's no sun or when it rains.  Do you have an oil radiator at home ?

Dear moms,
It's soooooooooooo cold today even at noon time. I also hope Preston is warm enough at school. Also, I don't know if it's safe to turn on the heater overnight. I woke up twice last night to make sure he's well covered. Usually, he has no blanket on and his pants rolled up (although I put on extra clothes and jacket for him).

A notice we recevied that some body got hand, foot mouth disease. After one day, Ka Ka get fever and complaint oral ulcer pain. Yes, she also got this disease

Yes, I've got an oil radiator at home.  However, Brian's room is too small now and I don't think it's good to turn on the radiator at night for him.  I just let him wear thicker clothes.

Most probably I will also join the joint school sports day but will not be a volunteer.

Have you attended the Parent's Day this morning ? I am glad to have chance to discuss and share more about my girl with Miss Lai & Mr. Shawn. It's happy to know that they both agree Hei Ching is keep improving recently. Although she may not be the outstanding kid in class at this moment, I can sure she enjoys her school life very much.

I did attend the parent's day yesterday (I think I'm the last one 4:15pm). It's nice to talk to the teachers coz I don't have much chance to talk to them regularly. Preston is also improving in different aspects and doing pretty good esp in language. I think all kids enjoy school coz they have good teachers.

If the room of your kid is big enough, I highly recommend using oil radiator (not heater).  Lydia, it's safe.  Don't worry.  I turn the oil radiator on for Davin at night & so I don't have to wake up during the night to check on him (actually I don't usually wake up during the night).

All kids have improved a lot in different aspects.  As parent, we should be happy to know about this.

Hei Ching's mom, I think Hei Ching is doing fine at school.  I saw her this morning.  She looked happy.

I know that long ago.  You know why.  After school, they walk the same way to the mini bus stop & sometimes they take the same mini bus.

Hei Ching likes to stay close to Davin for most of the time, during morning exercise, in the class.  They are in the same group.  During class observation, I noticed that Hei Ching did ask Davin to sit next to her.

Though I'm happy that Davin's got a cute friend like Hei Ching, I do hope that Hei Ching would make more good friends in the class.  Right !?

Cute little couple. Kids will play together if they have something in commom. Is Davin still play with Preston a lot this year, I don't hear as much as last year? Preston also has 2 girl-friends, Wing wing and Kayla, and Wing Wing is no.1. Other moms even told me that they like to hold hands and even saw them kissing each other (on the cheek) . I educated Preston is not polite to do that and probably they have no idea it's not appropriate to do that at school.

Davin still mentioned about Preston sometimes but not as much as last year.  I observe that this year he has more good friends.  So, I understand why Mr. Shawn says the class atmosphere is good & everyone plays with each other.
