Hi youngmami,

Long time no chat!

It's glad to know your son's talent on drawing.  The subject of VA is one of my son's weak subjects.

In the second term, the class teacher will distribute a form for asking parents to report if their son has won or got any external prize/award during the past 12 months.  You may then provide details at that time.  The school MAY publish the honour with your son's photo in the 2007/08校刊.  Your son will be proud of showing this to classmates.

好似唔計。如記载在校際音樂節得獎，但未必會記载考琴取得Distinction.  不過具體以學校為準。若你有已往校刋，可以一看作參考。

Hi Lelu,

Tks for your elaborations.  

My son is interested in drawing but it doesn't mean that he could get high marks in VA   So far his marks for VA are not high.  Two totally different things actually.

Yesterday he told me he had no time to finish the background colour of his  大作   You know in Saturdays' interest classes, teachers allow them sufficient time to observe the objects they draw, to plan the drawing and finish the drawing.  I don't think the skills he learnt at drawing classes have been effectively applied in VA subject.

Thanks! 不過我相信你囝囝一定好過我個個, 唔知是否老師比分嚴緊, 佢幾次都得60分炸 我個仔話佢個班好多個畫畫都唔得, 所以有一日不是VA堂都有畫畫

除了主科外,VA,PE,MUSIC分都會計入平均分,
老師會告知小朋友那份VA會計入考試或測驗分.

VA is also one of my son's weak subjects.

Last week, there wass a drawing of himself, he made the paper very messy. I bought him a new paper and asked him to draw a new one. He draw one even more worse.
I asked to drew some background objects. He refused, he said it doesn't need wor.

Yee.. seems so many of you here do not join the music course..
I did enrol my son....
I want him to have chance to join the school orchestra.
Actually, my son is learning violin outside.

I also enrolled for the music course, late nite the Workshop teacher call me to check info.  My boy refuse to learn musical instrument after he finished his course in Tsang Fook (as I told him he has to practice), so I join School course, he has to face his teacher and classmate = hv to practice .

Dear All,

For the VA, Class 1B teacher sent back all the arts and asked to put into the 'Folder', they hv to finish in class.  His drawing of 'Himself' with a very big head, just like the 'Big head dog', no background, 65 marks - to me it is quite funny.

Yes same as you.  All drawings were finished at school.  My son also got one time 60 marks and others 80 or above.  I don't know whether his drawings are posted or not.
