I want to ask about the APA junior programe, if I want to daughter to learn piano, violin more seriously, is it a good place?
Would it be difficult to get in?
What is the requirement?

阿囡報咗4/5月考 2 級琴試 , 不過老師說她彈得很千篇一律, 沒有旋律和節奏感 , 可能是她太熟這 3 首歌 (她報考舊的syllabus) 因為她之前常常聽人彈. 也曾問老師怎樣改善, 但回答說要靠她自己 , 我也不知怎樣向阿囡解釋多些感情 , 請問可以怎樣令她彈得好些 ? 驚她可能唔合格 !

肯定是目前香港學咅樂最理想的地方，尤其是鋼琴系。
由於收生少，競争大，理所當然是難入。Violin機會相對還好一點
如果有心給孩子學，絕對應該給孩子一個機會考一考。

我覺得好視乎老師的教法, 我囡考二級時, 老師在她的譜上畫滿符號, 提點她各個留意地方, 又差不多準備了一年,  所以三首歌都有29分(滿分是30), 當然, 小朋友的練習+天份是重要, 但我真的覺得有'良師'的指點輔助, 她才有此成績.

你個囡份樂譜是否比較'清潔'呢?

這年, 囡囡換了老師, 她整年的琴書都很'乾淨', 只有幾個圈圈符號, 我都覺得她只係好流暢的彈完一些歌, 無甚麽感情可言.  
所以, 最近她參加完校際, 都有些關於pedal的問題, 我個囡是彈(U113), 評判彈了一小段示範, 是有用pedal的, 而坐我旁邊的小朋友(獲獎的), 都有用pedal.

但我個囡的琴老師沒教用, 小女告訴老師別人有用的情況, 但老師說笑是他們"弄錯了". 所以我想知'用'與'不用' ,是否個人風格問題.

有無聽過”國際聯校音樂大賽”？　想幫仔仔報名以助他考琴，　好嗎？　只是ｇｒａｄｅ　ｏｎｅ其中一首考試曲，　不為成績，　只想他有點出場經驗！

囡囡的琴書是借人的, 所以已經很"花"了, 而老師也有說那些重點的, 不過可能阿囡真係無藝術細胞, 所以領略唔到感情的演繹 !

我想請問你阿囡考琴有無請translator ? 考oral 時會唔會好難 ? 過程是怎樣, 可否說說給我聽 ? 因老師尚未說給阿囡聽 ? 因為一堂只是教她怎樣彈3好隻歌也沒有什麼時間了 ? 很多問題, 唔好意思 !

Each piece of music has its own characteristics.  An artistic playing involve some understanding of the music rather than just play all the notes correctly.  Maybe you can encourage your daughter to 'imagine' the story / scene / mood that the music is to tell.  For example, some music has a dance-like character, ask her to imagine that she dressed up and dance elegantly in a palace; whilst some music evoke a hunting scene, then ask her to imagine that she's riding on a horse.  Sometimes I would even make up stories or show pictures to my students to help them have a better understanding of the music.  By doing so, I think your daughter can play her exam pieces more musically.  Good luck on her exam.

The result will be delivered around 2 months after the exam.  My students are still awaiting.

hi 各位,
我都想問吓有咩方法可以另阿女隻"右"手可以靈活D...佢隻右手好緊, 手腕明顯比左手DROP同冇咁自然. 佢左手彈得幾好同比較快上手, 手勢都幾好, 但偏偏佢隻右手就怪怪地.(p.s. 佢不是左手人)......有咩好方法改善右手呢?

我囡囡彈一級, 那天共57人比賽,  大概11:30所有參賽者完成比賽, 約用了兩小時, 如你的小朋友排50幾, 我想你在10:15-10:30左右到場都OK的!
