Dear all:
我本來都是填兩位出席,但明天英默考試,我和"蝦子餅"只會一個出現,現在仍未決定,我希望個仔生性d,我返家後他合作快快手手溫一次,使我可以安心返學校,不過我想可能會少左好多本來打算出席的家長!

我昨天才醒起今晚要返家長會，阿囝明天考英默，我未同他默過。本來叫他爸爸替他默，他好像又有親戚由國內來要回奶奶家食飯，暫時未想到解決方法，最簡單是阿囝自己攪掂，亦是風險最大的決定

我昨晚無和阿囝溫成語，因為學校常常也是狼來了，試過好幾次也是用了時間溫習，最終也沒有當天測驗，天天也寫家課冊要溫成語，為何不可以像默書訂下一個測驗的時間，實在令人費解   再者，隔籬班將成語當作家課，我覺得沒有問題，最重要是同學能吸收。最奇怪是成語不合格要全部題目10題抄三次，這種懲罰性的教育方法實在很過時。星期五要考英默，星期四安排家長會，星期三通知星期四還要測不是考試範圍的成語，我也被學校的安排弄得有些無所適從了！

不必要/過量的罰抄、背默，我都不贊成，這與校長提倡的"愉快學習"不符，有機會要向校方提出！

係呀!我個仔第一日返學就測成語,我地都無溫過,最後當然是只識一個,罸抄啦! :cry:
昨天中文老師也幫他們預默,又無通知,好彩星期四功課不多,我幫他溫了一課,如果唔係........
昨晚我問個仔老師有無話會預默另一課,佢話老師無講,況且昨晚都無時間再溫,所以便算了吧!

各位英華家長:
昨晚家長會都算幾多人喎!而且好多是阿爸,唔知係唔係男主外,女主內呢?
校董會傾向轉直資,而且建議學費也比我想像中低,我認為轉直資是勢在必行,出生率低,政府政策一時一樣,語言政策的影響,令一條龍的理念不能貫徹,而且越來越多家長選擇有質素的直資學校,加上學校未能有收生自主權,這種種的問題對學校的發展都不利的,我想大家都係英華的一份子,都希望它不會滑跌下去!是嗎?(以上只是本人對學校考慮轉直資的意見,如果大家有意見,不妨大家分享,希望我們在此只是表達自己的心聲,不包含其他對學校,對任何人的人身攻擊!)

狼真的來了!尋日測左成語呀！

我尋晚收到細仔call,問我幾點回家同佢地check homework簽手冊，所以做左"灰姑娘"要早離場。 個會幾點完？

我問左條問題，我估冇人直接回答過--->轉直資後,學校的教學質素、課程、設施會有何改善？
如果得到滿意的答覆,我想我會傾向支持轉直資,理由如下:
1.轉直資可貫徹EMI一條龍教學理念，免受政府教學語言政策/banding percentage etc.干擾；
2.收生自主權能提昇學生質素/學校學術水平；
3.直資學校要面對市場，積極努力提高教學質素、改善課程、設施，以吸引學生報讀。

Dear all,

anyone in the briefing last night mentioned the time-frame for the transfer to DSS?  I'm counting my younger son's possibility to get into the school as he is only K1 now!  Thanks!

According to the Working Group, the proposed time-frame for the transfer is 2008. So, I guess the school will announce its decision, if any, later this year before the application for P1 Places Allocation in Sept.

There will have another parents' meeting for secondary school in Jan 9 and they will apply for the changes afterwards.  According to the schedule - change to DSS in 2008,  we need to apply within a specific time.  

Principal said more information will be upload in school website afterwards and we can get more details there.

Even the school changed to DSS, 「一條龍」still apply for the kids.   i.e. all kids who are admitted in primary school will be granted a seat in secondary division.

Personally speaking, when compare with other DSS school,  the proposed school fee is not expensive and if DSS system can assist school in solving 「關卡 」and school is good at their future development which beneficial to our kids, I will support the changes.

I heard the YW spirit before, but feel the YW spirit last night.  Influenced by the enthusiasm and strong love of the working group to the school.  Each of them are leader of their career and is still devoting so much time to the development of the school.
I think DSS is the solution of the 75%/85% hurdle in the past, but I find that the Board is actually seeking to realise a much more missionary dream.  Though my younger son lose security in getting a seat in the change, and I may have to pay more, I support a school with dream.

這樣做, 我覺得你欠小小誠意, 你應該一家大細, 一齊唱多d "YingWa Home", 唔係只有細仔唱. 到interview時, 就一家人係校長面前開show唱, 咁先得架.
