Hi, my daughter will do K.3 next year (but not St.Clare Kindergaten) May I know that, do St Clare Primary only accept students from their kindergarten, or will my child have the chance to get into it? Also, can you tell me how is the interview like? thanks a lot!

聖嘉勒小學係會收外來的學生,但因你囡囡入讀的年份,自己校幼稚園生已有兩班,而小學如不增加班數的話(現在是兩班小一),則收外來生的名額不會太多.
而小一入學試的基本要求係要小朋友表現斯文,但又要有反應.
祗要有心,願望會成真!

問簡單加數, 中文要認字不過有公仔題示, 簡單英文對答, 我有交portfolio, 面試時有圍繞住黎問d生活野
我相信st clare's會鍾意有禮貌, 獨立自信既女仔
(唔駛擔心, 唔係想像中咁難, 我個女計錯數都得左    )

My daughter is will start P1 in an international school (equivalent to K3 of local school), but I still want her to go to St Clare after this year....really hope that she can pass the interview. I think the most difficult part will be  中文認字. I teach her some Chinese at home, but of course not effective as the children going to local kindergarten la. Please pray for me!

Hello everyone,

I'm busy with my daughter's revision for the final exam lately and seldom vist Baby Kingdom since she started P.1. It is true that you do not see much comments on St. Clare's here which I really need to ask around my friends to get to know more about the school. Instead of typing too much here, I don't mind sharing my opinion by phone if you would like to do so too, just send me a private message as you wish.

We've also been busy with the activities for the 80th Anniversary which basically last for the whole year in 2007, and yes I am one of the PTA members.

To my surprise, St. Clare's not only focus on English teaching, the level in Chinese is pretty high too and I reckon the Chinese subject is quite tough if the child is fond of English speaking.

hkufrankie, I think my daughter and yours are alike. My daughter's Chinese is weak and hence I thought it would be better to enrol her into a school that emphasizes English a lot, like St. Clare's. We spent almost half a year to catch up and my daughter achieved a pretty good result from the 3rd term test.

Anyway, just keep in touch and drop me a line.

the students can join all the extra-curricular activities whatever they like. There're many sports teams in this primary school, such as fencing team, athletic team, swimming team. No matter your daughter is really good in it, this school just wanna their students can reach the "whole-person development" planning. There are also many different kinds of ECA, you can follow your daughter's interest to choose them. : }

我真係好羡慕你o地o的囡囡讀呢間學校，我囡囡都曾經响呢間學校由PP1讀到P1Daisy。由於我地由西環搬到東九龍，加上學校又無過海校車，所以同囡囡轉校，點知佢而家間學校根本就比唔到愛心同鼓勵學生，唔同St Clare's可以另每一個學生開開心心咁返學。以前St Clare's教她們在學校見到每一個人都要叫，even一個校工亦要叫早晨，這個待人態度非常好。但她轉校後，學校都只顧教小朋友同人比高低。所以我唔敢講St Clare's出來的是一個優異生，但我可以講她們的品格一定勝於其他所謂Band 1的學校

所以人格的培養係好緊要! 我囡囡現在是K1, 在之前的家長會, 校董和我地講, 要由小朋友細的時候已經要教導, 佢地要有禮貌, 要懂得尊重別人等等~ 所以我很喜歡和很放心囡囡入讀這校(雖然現在只是幼稚園)
