St. Paul Boys' planning to move to a bigger campus???

I have attend St peter school briefing on July05. Headmaster said they not move before 2006.(政府撥地 they will合併 another shcool, 但計劃已告趋) I think this is SKH arrangement.

I admire St Paul Boys college very much and would like to apply Primary school for my boy  in next year.  Since I am just starting to collect info, could you please give me some advice about this school because not many topics about this school here.

My boy's kindergarden is 蘇淅.  Which kindergarden st paul boys is prefer?

how is it's secondary school?  Is it also very good?  Is it easy to get in it's secondary school from it's primary school?

Some people said that it is not worth to give up gov't lucky draw for 高主教 because it is good but not that good enough to give up lucky draw especially its secondary school is so so.  May I ask that how about St Paul boys in this point.

St. Paul's College Primary School (SPCPS) has its own marking scheme for P1 application.

In Section A, applicants may claim only one from（i）to（v）.

A       
(i) Brother(s) studying in St. Paul’s College or Primary School -        20 points
(ii) Parent(s) teaching or working full time in St. Paul’s College or Primary School - 20 points
(iii) Parent(s) being a member of St. Paul’s College Council -        20 points
(iv) Parent(s) or brother(s) being a graduate of St. Paul’s College or Primary School -10 points
(v) Firstborn Boy - 5

Applicant of the right age (5 years 8 months to 7 years old by 1st September 2006; from 1st September 1999 to 31st December 2000) -        10 points

The Head of the school may also award up to 20 additional discretionary points.

高主教 or 聖類斯 are good private primary schools for boys.  Personally, I view SPCPS is better.

In 2005, my son at K3 applied SPCC, SPCPS, HKUGA and 高主教 at HK island side.

我仔是SPC P.1 學生，他的同學來自不同幼稚園，看來校長沒有特定“喜歡”某一些幼稚園來收生，所以SKH學生也應該不會有著數。

有沒有其他好的男校？我只想到Raimondi, St. Louis, 慈幼,不過對比之下，還是SPC和Raimondi水平較高 （我覺得）。

在現行階段，85%的SPC小學生可以直上中學。

But your son would still have the up to 20 marks from the principal!  The marking scheme is just only part of the game.  A chance is still there!

St. Paul's College (Secondary Section) is going to have a new principal w.e.f. 1st March 2006.  He is Dr. John Kennard from Australia.

=> Secondary School is not bad, but not the top best in HK.  They are building a new stadium in secondary school, so they will soon have very good and modern facilities (indoor swimming pool, lecture halls etc).


How much is the school fee?
=> Primary school, $30000/year.
=> Secondary school, $48000/year.

My son has registered to study at Wanchai St. Joseph and see if there will be any miracle on June from his dream school i.e. SPCC.
