請問有沒數一數那些是功課,那些不是功課.

Normally每天功課(P1)4-5-6樣啦, 有D係改正, 無錯咪少樣law, 要改都係寫2個字就寫完. 我仔回家5:00前一定做完就係度hea. Friday就多d, 但唔離譜既.
有時我同亞仔上佢地既內聯網, 都有睇到有d高年級既寫話今日好多功課, 亦有看到校長有回應過乜真係好多咩! 等我問下班主任先等等. 你咪睇校長個樣好惡, 我覺得佢幾cute架, Halloween都有扮巫婆tim. 佢真係幾'錫'細路既, 不過有時男仔學校係要惡d至得.

所以好矛盾, 我自己又好想自己個小朋友可以讀得輕鬆, 但係又唔想佢讀國際小學 / 國際中學, 因為我唔想佢身為中國人, 連報紙都唔識睇, 人地企係佢身邊話緊佢笑緊佢, 佢都聽唔明......但係讀國際學校就真係可以係毫無功課考試壓力下鬆容學習, 而傳統的本土中小學實在係太多煩複學習模式, 唔只係出名的學校, 唔出名的學校一樣, 淨係 weekends 果本 copybook 同中文生字都寫到你手軟, 比著我, 我都覺得煩厭, 唔好話提筆寫果個...不過, 個人認為若果佢可以跟到 local schools 的學習模式, 將來出國讀書, 就會變得更易如反掌, 最緊要係平時同佢 train up 多 D, 等佢大個做 presentations 都會有信心.... 我同老公都係本著呢個想法, 先決定比個仔讀國際幼稚園, 等佢開開心心的過呢三年, 跟住就要好 harsh 敢捱過小學階段, 中學先會送佢出國囉, 你地又點睇 ??

總之凡事都有代價，付出幾多就收番幾多，如果阿仔要勤力ｄ做功課，水準實會keep得好ｄ（除非無心機啦）。谷有谷好，鬆有鬆好，無絕對既，真要看小朋友既脾性，如果小朋友係谷得既，佢根本唔會aware有壓力，仲會越做越有鬥志添。

聽聞灣仔的聖若瑟都是喇沙會的，此間學校又如何？
與喇沙小學可否比較？

I have the same concern...喇沙小學 "was" one of best in HK, no doubt.

If they have no right to select students now, how can they maintain the standard?

All your comments on this topics are so comprehensive.  This is the first time I read from BK's discussion forum that comments are of such high quality.

I also target to send my son to La Salle Primary.  But my main problem is having not enough "points" and without "relation".  How would you suggest moms like us to increase our chances in getting into a good school like this?

Happymama, I admire so much that your son can study in this school happily.  I think he must be clever and with talents.  Could you share with us how he entered the school?

Which kindergarten has better chances?

我相信夠points都唔係o甘易入. 反而唔夠points但有relationship易d. 今年小一我眼見有曾華倩個仔, 有大律師, 公司董事, 跨國銀行亞太區負責人等等(我抄教校會張list), 唔通佢地o甘o岩都夠pts兼住41區又同時被抽到? 我睇lucky boy一定有, 亦有好多係有relationship既.

我曾與一位喇沙的家長詳談,他証實是有精英斑的存在,他透露每個年級均有1-2斑精英斑, 最好的老師及資源會照顧這些斑, 其他一般質素的學生並不是學校的priority, 他更反問我為何那麼keen要個仔讀喇沙? 要我想清楚, 不要貪圖名牌, 小朋友若非出眾,會深受忽略, 比他入讀普通學校更差! 他又說其實喇沙有甚多一般質素的學生,只是大家不太留意! 老師與素亦不特別標青, 標青的是學生的父母而已!
他又勸我千萬不要以為某九龍塘的幼稚園有入喇沙的優勢,事實是那間幼稚園每年只會推薦最多3個最好的學生入喇沙,而不是每個都會幫!
他的仔仔後來轉了校,我不知原因,亦不好意思問點解!
聽了他說真實情況後, 真像當頭棒喝! 如果我個仔不是咁top, 而我硬推他入喇沙, 他會很難頂的!

Interesting...... can a government subsidised school select their student by relationship? If they do so are they violeting certain rules?

Do they do it in the first round i.e. take someone whose pts are not amongst the highest?  

Or in the second round lucky draw where they manipulate the results?

Or there are some official ways that allow them to do it?

我都有朋友的兒子讀緊LA　ＳＡＬＬＥ，佢話無精英班ＬＥＥ回事，請不要介意我有以下睇法，其實不論任何一間學校都有Ｄ叻學生，有Ｄ平凡學生，名校都唔例外，就算一Ｄ普通學校都會有老師比較重視某Ｄ叻學生，成績差的學生老師 幫忙補課，但我會用平常心去睇，一班最少３８人有時難免被忽略，可能被忽略的學生成績各方面不過不失呢．
壓力一定有，但如果有幸入都如此好學校，我會同亞仔一起努力，無理由未試過，聽人講完．．．．．．．就放棄

敢又應該無咁嚴重, 以我所知, 例如小一有 1000 個學位, 政府唔會派晒 1000 個人仔入去, 係會留番例如十個呀, 廿個位比番學校自己收生的......唔通真係本校校董想自己個仔想入番自己間學校都要經政府個 lucky draw 咩, 係咪 ? 所謂憑關係入學的, 我諗就係呢十零廿個位囉, 呢 D 就叫 "knocking door seats"

我兒正讀p4,那有精英班之分別,教友班就有,p3時分,是為了小朋友初領聖體作準備.

都不知為何妨間常傳此校功課多(10樣),又精英班又垃圾班!!!有孩子正在LS唸書的家長,請出來證清是否有精英班.

They still can maintain the standard is due to their teaching skill and method.  Such as, providing lots of worksheet for training the student.

I'm also a Maryknoller.  Nice to meet you here.  Keen Mind's principal is a former La Salle Principal and I think this is the main reason for the relationship.
