想問當中有咩分別?  學校再加強對中文程度?

I would like to ask what is the difference? Will the school strengthen the Chinese proficiency?

No, it just means because of high-demand from the parents and enrollment, they will now do bilingual stream (50 english / 50 chinese) and eliminate the International stream completely (80 english / 20 chinese).
Usually the internaitonal stream has mainly been for foreigners who may not want their children to be fully immersed in Chinese as they are afraid they can't pick up the language vs. other children who are native speakers.

But what this move tells me is that CDNIS is now attracting a lot more parents/students who want to be immersed in Mandarin, thus pushing CDNIS to keep their operations simple and streamline everything into this 1 single stream.   It also makes me wonder the diversity of the classroom (i.e. is there really a true diversity mix?  Or will it become another YCIS where majority are MLC students).

I’m sure even though it will be bilingual, it’ll still be streamed (just like VSA) so native speakers will still be in different class to non Chinese speakers and still somewhat attractive to foreigners/parents who want their children to speak some Chinese.
YCIS is attractive to mainland Chinese parents partly because of its brand name in China and is seen as a prestigious international school in mainland. It’s seen as ‘prestigious’ partly because of it being super expensive and people equating price to being ‘good’. As usual, brand names go very far in China/Hk.

I think there is pros and cons to the move made by CDNIS.  My only point was that I hope they adhere to a good nationality mix, and not become another YCIS/ISF where they are very focused on profit-making and therefore keep charging very high amounts of tuition which can be afforded by "one specific nationality".
If they can keep their diversity mix strong and their tuitions fair, then I think this is a smart move to streamline things.

Nationality mix这个比较难，毕竟老外在走内地人在来
