Yeah, band 1A students would apply, but most would rather go to La Salle, Queens, or St Joseph. 1B sure have good chance. Many 1C could also get in.

Given (1) the "package" (popular term these days!) that WYK can provide for both students and their parents (e.g. a huge campus, long-established alumni network, etc.) and (2) higher weighting on academic performance (as against pre-2013/14 admission where much emphasis was put on selected candidates' interview performance "alone" (around 300 out of 600 applicants been selected), it's highly doubtful that many "1Cs" could get admitted by WYK at S1 discretionary places allocation stage.
