The Lasalle boy's mother said her boy was from kinder without dictation and exam, but failed in admitting all PS/DSS they applied, so she won't believe "happy learning" anymore....
Similar case as me, my girl's kinder do not have dictation and exam, I didn't arrange any academic training to my girl, just drawing and piano lesson. But till now we didn't receive offer from any PS/DSS, but I still hope that I can keep this believe "Happy Learning", I don't want to destroy our relationship.

Many people believed kids from 0-6 years old are their prime in learning and I am also a strong believer of that.
Actually everyone start at the same starting line, your kid learn from the day they were borne. In case someone didn't notice all kids LOVE to learn. There are so many ways to stimulate yourkids to learn and there is nothing wrong with even 'dictation' as someone think that is bad. Every kids love to play of course too the problem ishow you let them learn while playing. Why not do some dictation games?
People complained that their kids don't like to read or write or has a bad memory, low concentration etc. I believe very often the parents are the one to be blamed (mine included). Think about the last 5-6 years after they were borne, did you let them read books more or watch TV more? did you read story with them and teach themhow to read every day or instead let them play their own toys by themselves? Did we bring them out enough to see the world? Did you even'talk' to them enough so that they can talk well?
Not saying I know how to raise a kid, I am also an odinary parent it just happens I also have a few very young kids so I guess do learn something from mistakes.
Really need more of these educators in Hong Kong. Educators who care. He Comparing to him, another person working in education appearing in the show is just too arrogant to be called an "educator".
