I read through all posts and strongly feel that most parents didn't even look at SPCC's web site. I think its fundamental and need to do the homework with your kids before the application.
Listen to others opinions or hearsays are fine, but can't replace your common sense and judgement. At the end your family benefit or suffer from your choice.
My experience was:
1. Read the web site info carefully, like fee remission in SPCC, they provided a calculator, you punch in your household income and you know your remission. (I meant 3 years ago)
2. Talk to some parents and students to get first hand info, definitely different families have different comments, all are good for our decision. If you can talk to some current and ex-teachers in that school even better.
3. Refer to some comments in BK or other forum. Double confirm the comments.
4. Don't hesitate to ask questions and the sources of info, a lot of gaps in different comment.
5. Build your own picture to finalise your choice with your kid(s).
My wife and I felt SPCC's students are humble, but my son has different views as he knows some of them.
