不是我明不明白,而是除了家長,誰人會知道你可能心水是1. DSS, 2.官津, 3. private
-- 中央辦事處會有各人的心水排位

如果,我說如果,no. 1唔收, no. 3收,而你的隨機是頭籤,那派了你去no. 2的

那收你的私校咪要將waiting的收一個,解決到樓主所寫的嗎?
-- 私校/直資收到唔夠學生消息, 要再出一份名單給中央辦事處.  其實, 現在情況也差不多, 二線私校/dss是不停出offer搵人fill up 學位.  只是要到開學才明朗, 因為有家長同時hold幾個位直至開學.

相反,如果你第一目標是官津,第2是DSS,只要DSS收,無論在你的名單排名如何,都沒有機會派你no. 1?
-- 不會, 如果都抽中, 應該派第一位的官津.  其實, 現時的人生交叉點在dss出左offer之後, 如果可以有心水表, 大家仲開心, 因為仲可以參加抽獎又可以去考dss, 只係6月大家只收到一個offer. either dss(抽唔中官津) or 官津(抽中左).

這是邏輯問題

"始終會有先後次序"
-- 如果是考直資/私校, 不會存在先後次序, 學校有200個位, 未出200個offers, 如果當選學生有更好offers, 學校再出第二批.

學生A
1. dss 2. 官津 3. 官津
學生B
1. 官津 2. 私校 3. dss

如果dss收B先, 但B抽中官津. dss要再出第二批offer, 當中包括A. Then, A got the DSS seat.

CHP

私校/dss不需9月急忙找人補上. 家長/學生不需買多餘校服,不需交多餘留位費.  不需多餘擔心幾個月. 好似冇咁混亂.

吹下水...又唔係一定跟我改...放鬆d啦!

joint application may need to solve many technical problems but for the step one, if all the DSS and private schools can announce and results on the same day of the 1st round of government allocation, it can already help a lot for parents and save much costs from the schools.

Imagine DSS and private all annoucned it on Nov 23, isn't it nice? if so, most of the parents with several offers will make up their mind and release the rest. At the same time, they can decide to go for DSS or join the lucky draw.

It seems to me that the problems with the current system rest with the parents who cannot or will not make up their minds till the very last minute.
If all the parents have a clear preference & register with just one school, then it would be a lot better already.
If they won't make up their mind, nothing will work regardless of whether all the schools announce their results on the same day.

理論上是對的,但當自己的小朋友入不了心儀的學校,或只有15分卻在不知怎算時,唯有申請私校/DSS,起碼小朋友有機會去面試表現自己.
不用去等那運氣的大抽獎,尤其像自己是那種運氣超差的人
而且現行制度上有這麼多既得利益者,當失去時,這些人有沒有人會讚成
雖然我不是既得利益者,但有部份的理念是好的,有兄姊在讀的世襲生,附近就學等
但卻給一些人在從中取巧的破壞了其精神
而且大部份名校都是比較有歷史的,想當然是位於有歷史的區域,自然是比較富裕的地區,而附近就學卻沒有解決這熱門學校分佈不均的問題
想想看,像九龍城那幾個校網有什麼熱門的學校,升英中率高的學校,但在TKO又有什麼學校?
高於60%英中升學的有天神,聖家2間,La Sa, 協恩,陳樹渠,瑪利諾,奉基.....etc
在TKO呢,只有FC, 黃永樹, 將天 3間
但整個TKO校網有多少間學校....扣了直資四間有22間
九龍城3校網有34間(唔計私立/DSS),比例如何,大家心中有數
你可以說,你搬進來就可以啦,像特首說的一樣,上車盤全港還有很多,但在九龍城嗎?
我只能說各有前因,不要去妒忌別人
