Just my own opinion.
According to the written reply from Legislative Council regarding the number of students eligible for P1 allocation of the academic year 2010/11, there will be about 1,700 P1 entrants in Central and Western District (Net 11). The number for 2009/10, that is, the forthcoming academic year, is about 2,100. For 2008/09, 2007/08 and 2006/07, it was about 2,400, 2,200 and 2,000 respectively. So, it means there will be fewer students competing for P1 places. If those popular schools don't change to small class teaching, it may be good news for us. |
