My girl told me that she's asked to do a split.  Lucky that she can do it since she learnt Chinese Dance before (there're also some others can do it of course)!:)   She also told me that she needs to buy two pants (she doesn't know very clearly what pants they are but I guess it is for the gym class).  Did your girl tell you what pants are they?  Can we order it thru the school or we have to buy them by ourselves?

Hi little-duck,

My son found the pronouncation of French so interesting and quite different to other languages, so he remembered some greeting words lor~   It dosn't mean yr daughter learning nothing abt French ga~

Haa....all kids like "appreciation".  So if teachers give them "encouragement" or "appreciation", they must like them ga~

As per my son said, the Putonghua teacher is rather serious coz she would blame on those naughty students who always keep talking during class.   He definiately dislike she.   But to me (as parent), I like she wor~

So, different standards from kids and from parents.

Don't panic.  They're still P.1 students and have long road for them to "walk" and to "learn".

Keep happy

That's what she teached me ( free to learn French fm her), may be more in the lesson. You can ask your kids.

I finally found out the reason why my girl knows nothing about the French class.  She was sick last Monday and I think that was the first & only French lesson they ever have so far!  Lucky that's not because she's daydreaming in the class!

體操隊有兩位呀 sir, 蔡 sir 和梁 sir , 小女話PE 裙衭不可練體操, 要買黑色衭( 我估係 3個骨衭仔 )

Did the coach call you on the result of the gym entrance test?  Mr Leung called me yesterday and told me that my girl is not qualified to the school team and she's assigned to the foundation team!:cry:

For the pants, I've bought two black short tights (around knees length) from Apita yesterday since it has big discount (original price is $119 and now is $49 only)!  You may go to take a look if you have a chance to drop by!

Mr Leung 也有 call 我, 小女剛合格入到體操校隊, 今個星期開始返 Tue & Thur 希望女兒捱得住

However, how can your girl attend the Cambrige course then?  Will you enroll her mover class? (Starters Class will be on Tue and the other two classes will be on Wed)

Dear little-duck,

See...so don't worry too much and don't blame on yr girl always day-dreaming la~   haaa...I think she must like French coz it seems so fun for kids.

I'm so longing for next turn.  My son tell me that if he learn Japanese next time, he must know how to order sushi...haaa....so fun!!!

Actually, they are still KIDS.

The 20 words are -
candy, costume, friend, trick, treat, halloween, witch, spider, ghost, pumpkin, scary, silly, cover, little, angel, skeleton, party, haunted, cat and black.

My boy is in G2 and I think the dictation words are the same (like last 2 times).

They will have quiz on GS (Ch 1-4) on the same day.

每天除了做C4cat (English), 每日一篇(Chinese)外,還需在 "現代語文,普通話"做一篇中文每日一篇(由同級排行榜中可知,"現代語文"好像不太多同學有做).  (i.e 每天做 1 English reading and 2 Chinese readings)
今晚剛做完一篇English writing (30words), Next Monday 又English Dictation and GS Quiz ,忙忙忙!!!

I have not yet started the PTH reading.  We just started the PTH "pin yin" game last night.

My boy finished all the school work and on-line exercises at 8:30pm last night.  I did not do the 30 words writing (due by friday) as I (not my boy) was very tired.

We have to prepare for the dictation and GS quiz as well.  What a busy week.

I do not understand why the school put the quiz and dictation on the same day for P1.  Do the teachers communicate?  It would be good for P4 and above as this can train their time management.  

Anyway, I would take this positive as a real example to tell my boy "that is life - the need to plan ahead and prioritize".

Silly me think today is a school holiday.

the workload was heavy yesterday. My daughter didn't learn any from the French Lesson and didn't know how to do the homework. So we spared a lot of time to do the French homework.
