石硤尾聖方濟各vs聖若望英文書院vs女拔萃

If you concern your younger son, I think you should choose 聖方濟各. I heard a similar case as yours. They have a daughter and a son. Their daughter get a seat of 聖方濟各 very hard because she need take the examination for entry the school. After then, the younger son only ask a few questions for hold a seat there.

I think 石硤尾聖方濟各 and 女拔萃 also are GOOD primary schools in kowloon side. Yes, 女拔萃 has their Secondary school but 石硤尾聖方濟各 hasn't. Please do not forget, 石硤尾聖方濟各 has a GOOD results in Allocation in Secondary School. They have many choices to entry Band 1 Secondary School even 女拔萃.
Forget fair or unfair to your daughter. You should think about...
(1) School Fee: 女拔萃 $3050~around and 石硤尾聖方濟各 $1600~around
(2) Travel Time:
(3) If you choose 女拔萃 and your daughter also can entry 女拔萃Secondary school, please sum up the school fee of 13 years. On the other hand, if you choose 石硤尾聖方濟各, your daugher still have chance to entry Band 1 secondary school and no need to pay School fee.
(4) Your younger son: Once your choose 女拔萃, you must repeat all procedures in his K3. Find school, interview, think about which primary school is good for him, etc.
(5) If choose 石硤尾聖方濟各 is not fair to your daughter, how about you choose 女拔萃 is fair to your son.
(6) If you think your son also brilliant enough to entry Band 1 Primary School, then choose 女拔萃.

其實SFA係私小,它唔一定會收番你朋友個仔喎(如果小朋友的入學試唔得),又如果個小朋友好叻的話,他自己都可以考入去啦！咁點解耍waste家姐既咁好機會先?

i will choose dgis rather than SFS. You will be regretted if you don't take this chance when you 're sure you get a seat there.

dgjs's comment is so good, i am struggling if i let my daughter go in too. It will be okay if i apply because I get.....
The point is that she is studying in St. Paul's co edu.now and feel used to the environment and academic good with not much pressure. I have talked with my daughter but i also want to know other's parents comment.

How you choose,if you were me?  dgs or St.Paul Co.edu?Both with secondary school.Please help comment as this confused me !

No matter what reason, DGS is the best girl school in HK. I don’t think any person would disagree with it.

But whether this school is suitable for your girl is a question, it is because this school is not duck feeding, even you are hard working, you may not get good result. They are famous in choosing those girls that are smart but no good in reciting and memorizing books. If anyone can get a seat in DGS, I don’t think they will be so stupid to give it up. Unless you believe that your girl is not smart (but I don’t think anyone will consider their girls are stupid but applied this school) or you do not want to pay the school fee (but I believe most parents will cut other cost if they have a seat in DGS for their girls)

For St Paul Co-Ed, it is also a very very good school but every competition has the winner and I think for girls, the only choice for no. 1 is DGS.

我認為弟弟是否跟姐姐一間學校不是這麼重要.尤其是,假如姐姐讀A學校,是否等於弟弟的性格和能力都同樣適合讀這間學校呢?同校是方便接送,有照應,申請入學有優勢,但不代表弟弟會讀得上或讀得開心.如果為弟弟而令姐姐失了一些她本來可以得到的東西,多少有點不公平.
