其實, 我都唔明的人為什麼見到輯相就0廿大反應 我係約3個星期前, 係報紙見到張group photo , 第一個反應係...校長好有創意, 當時, 校長話好多學生話去補習社, 因為覺得個度的老師好生鬼,而普通學校的老師其實都要反省這個現像...影相的其中的一個目的, 是想話俾同學聽, 其實學校都有名師.....

現實唔同了, 我認同老師的首要任務係教學, 但唔代表手法等要一成不變...好似以前呀媽會打仔(都係為呀仔好),唔同而家仲可以咩...肯變, 願意變, 從來都是不易, 其實, 係原校做個名校的校長, 就無風無浪, 如果林校長唔係在教育有擔當,點會去另一所學校呢...

Anyway, ..如果唔認同學校的理念, 咪唔好讀law, 何必出口傷人呢.....唉

昨晚我與阿仔討論這件事(學你地話通識教育下),他也學到傳媒的報導是不可盡信的,事情用不同的角度去看,有很不同的演繹.我問他那些相對他有甚麼意義,他說以前只認識有教自己班的老師,現在全校的老師都認識,我想這些相影的目的巳經達到了!
正如csk講這些相對非英華家長和學生根本沒有甚麼意義!

各位早晨！這一次的風暴，對讀小五的兒子來說，反而是一件很好的教材。面對外界對學校的描黑，他感受到「切膚之痛」，亦明白到傳媒的渲染力，及学到如何去分析報張的報導，真正的上了一堂寶貴的通識課！

謝謝 HoHoMaMa 和 HenryHo 的解說, 令我了解和放心了不少.  也令我更堅定了揀英華的決心 (這段期間因海報事件, 令緊張我兒子的家人給了我不少壓力, 現在我可以更有理據地去捍衛我的選擇了.)  希望將來可以加入成為英華家長的一分子.

Dear parents,

With regard to the recent photo case, in fact, two years ago (Sept. 2004), I remember that there were also photos of a number of teachers with a few lines of comments and posted at the entrance of the school. But those photos are 3R / 4R size, from daily life and provided by the teachers themselves. There wasn't such hugh reaction from outsiders at that time. Snoopy Principal will not use the same method twice, she is so creative that she decided another way to introduce teachers. I don't see there is any problem. The photos are nice and impressive. Unless it is too costly and time consuming, then we might need to consider the cost effectiveness.
Anyway, we are open minded. We have to keep on learning in order to suit this changing world. We welcome those comments which are constructive and friendly. It is no need to care about those unfriendly, distructive and bias criticism.

My wife is a teacher and she loves the idea of teachers' photo, but it is hard for her school to copy this idea because most of the teachers will refuse to do that. To show your face and commitment publicly to the parents is not easy for most of us.

I am glad that Ying Wa teachers have been showing an good example to our kids to "face challenge and fight" in recovering the image of Hong Kong teachers nowaday.

各位：

林校長創意無限，在她帶領下，學校兩年來源源不絕地推動好玩又益智的活動，兒子實在很享受他的學校生活，對學校更有濃厚的歸屬感。這次校長和老師在暑假時搞搞新點子，我絕對看不到學校何時忽略了教育這重任。能引起那麼大廻響，實在有些意外，家長的看法聽了很多，我反而對小朋友的意見更有興趣，因為他們的答案可能極具創意。例如：究竟他們希望老師穿甚麼服裝上課？他們喜歡老師和他們一樣穿制服嗎？……

我很欣賞校長和學校有與時並進的精神，肯作不同的嘗試，雖然不一定每次活動也很成功，最重要能吸取經驗去改進。今次的事件令我更認同學校的理念，因為我們都親身體會到校長和老師關心學生的一面，和大家在這兒分享亦特別有共鳴。

林校長很有創意，跟著她走不容易，我雖然追得好吃力，但又擴闊了自己的眼界，知道原來學習是可以這樣有趣又有果效的！

I passed the application today but did not submit the portfolio. Coz I saw Prin. Snoopy only put it aside and separated with the application form.  I am going to send in the coming weeks.

As far as I know, some have 20 marks were still failed....  So U're very lucky.  J&A mon, if possible, can U tell me more about your son in personal message and so I would like to prepare my son in this year.

I agree what you said "face challenge and fight", like Ying Wa Home :
"Challeges come and we will fight ; fight for our dreams, we can be bright.
Work and play, they are the same in a way.  All you need is the heart to race..."
This is really a good song, good melody and the lyric is very meaningful.   My son always sings this at home (even though he can't sing the correct words), you know, even my indonesian maid knows the melody.

As a 21st century parents, we need to be open and welcome changes, seeing thing from different angles.  Otherwise, the world 唔會進步,  亦唔會有跳字錶/鐘的出現.
