每個月都有校長與家長交流的小聚,沒有特定的家長,只要家長有空便可出席,二月份的通告有寫,可能大家無留意,不過我因為要返工,所以也從來無出席過,唔知內容會講甚麼!

在一月份通告有關於這個交流小聚的舉行時間資料.
其實這個交流會已經舉行了兩次,一次在11月,一次在1月.是一個很好的機會給予校長和家長的溝通渠道.

或者補充一下,交流會基本上沒有特定內容.大家可發表對學校各方面意見,而校長會作出回認.

咁有冇在職家長向校長反映過"小聚"時間可否改為8:00-9:00am或1:00-2:00pm呢?

My friend told me his son (P2) is naughty than before due to Boy's school!

The other parents do you feel the same?  Or any comments?  Please share! Thanks!

My son is not naughty than before.  But he said his current classmates are more naughty than those in his previous school (with girls and boys).

At the end, boys are more naughty than girls.  The school is making effort to discipline them.

我個仔之前都係男校，所以唔覺曳左，男校係咁架喎，但我覺得d先生唔夠惡，以前果間學校d先生好惡架，d男仔欺善怕惡，唔係話要敦款，但真係要控制得到，要惡d佢地先話得聽，尤其係較低年級，可能d先生之前教開男女校，暫未摸到點教淨男校。

Just joined the carnival on 8 Feb. Many fun on that day. Many gifts were collected. My boy like Ying Wa much more. Hope such happy memory can help him in future studying (against the heavy homework and examination).  
BTW, thanks JP for your assistance in buying ticket.

All Ying wah parents, I would like to ask a question about this school, I am planning to choose this school in the coming year for my son (he is K2 now), but somebody told me that the teachers in Ying Wah are from the school that in Shamshuipo before, they are below standard.  Please give comments about this and confirm.  Thank you very much.

What is "below standard"? Or what is the "standard". I think there should have objective measurements, e.g. the number of success in English placement test or their academic background....

I don't think some famous schools' teacher gain good standard. I stuided in a brand one secondary school but our teachers are in mess. Most of the student study hard by themselves and gained best result. What do you think?

I think you're referring to thoses teachers from Kei Tsuen PM School. I remember mayc mentioned those teachers in this topic before but I can't recall the details.

From my very limited personal experience, I feel the teachers of YW are quite enthusiastic, responsible and readily accessible. Last Friday, my elder boy lost his student handbook and he forgot to write the homework details. I called the school office after school and  the classteacher returned me a call in a few minutes time and he was very helpful in giving me the necessary information indeed!

I think it's somewhat exaggerate to say that teachers from Kei Tsuen are below standard as all teachers nowadays are required to possess post secondary college degrees at least and those English language and Putonghua teachers are required to pass基準試, and there're quite a lot of 超額教師. I don't think those so-called "below standard teachers" could survive in YW in any event!

Well let's go and see la! I'm going to ask my boys' comments on their teachers' performance as compared with their previous schools' teachers and will share with you later!

May I know what is meant by "超額教師", and by what criteria will a teach be graded as "超額教師": by years of experience/by performance or assigned by the principle?

"超額教師"=冗員,即因縮班或其他原因而多左出來既教師，他們會面臨被裁的命運！

Pls don't mind that I don't like this word: "冗員". I have friends who are teachers. I think the problem is due to mis-planning by our Stupid government. The children population is dropping but they still build many new schools. Actually some of the 冗員 may not have bad performance but only for the old population within their region.

Sorry for the improper word used! I'm not saying "surplus teachers" are inferior/have poor performance at all! What I'm saying is there seems to have over supply of teachers and the school administration obviously has a lot of choice in recruiting suitable and capable teachers.

You know, Ying wah is my target school, but recently I heard from my friend that 基荃的背景, 所以比較擔心老師的質素, 但聽過各位的意甩,都好希望D老師負責任又細心.其實都想知Ying wah現在是否只有P1-P3.同埋地D小朋友否enjoy school life, 我真係想知多D, 唔該晒.
