Well, my kid rang me up and demanded to know why they still had to attend school, no notice of extra school holiday despite HS flu.

Guess we may need to entertain our kids at home again !

What I mean is,
simply,
they are more or less the SAME kids,
so there may be ~6000 - 7000 kids, incl girls and boys, who apply for priv and DSS schools, and each school get ~2500 applications.
Then when their admission is confirmed,
they all start to play musical chair,
a game that will last until the 2nd or 3rd week of P1.

Oh… It’s my terrible blunder in quoting flostangraphy’s original post in my first reply so even after he edited it, you can still see his original post.   

With regard to the school suspension, it seems that the rough guideline from the Health Department is about 10% of the pupils of a school to have confirmed cases.
Therefore, 3 cases (so far) are not that serious at the moment, taking into consideration that there are a lot more confirmed cases reported in many other schools in the past one week or so.

Anyhow, such H1N1 flu virus is really annoying as it will disrupt the normal school activities/calendar to some extent.   

Let’s hope for the best.

However, Bluestar’s response is much milder than expected.  
I am sure she is in very good mood now as she is anticipating another 7-day holiday to be announced soon.

Looks like God really wants you to see his
“real side”.

My son told me that teachers asked them to wear mask in the classroom.  Not sure whether all classes have to do that or only those affected classes.........
