我想你真是一位好媽媽, 肯為孩子選校而做咁多"功課".

"今天的你,就是昨天的我們", 所以我們都十分樂意為你解答,不用客氣.

你所擔心的,我們完全明白,但是小朋友的成長過程中, 我們可以做的是指導如何選擇朋友,而不是禁止他們, 每所學校一定有比較聽教和頑皮的孩子.

至於說話粗魯, 講粗口, 成績差, 品行也越來越壞的學生,如果在英華小學出現,我相信校長,老師和社工一定盡力教好他. 當然家長一定要合作,而不是放棄不理.

雖然我是新生家長,但我想告訴你,由小一適應日返學到昨天,每晚我和我的孩子祈禱時,他都會跟天父說"今天是我返英華第幾天, 我好開心,好開心,真係好開心', 看著他的笑臉,我相信我的選擇是對的.

正如Henry Ho 所說,如果心點有點焦慮,不如試下祈禱,可能對你有所啟示.

我跟妳在這裡又見面了!  
我很清楚明白, 妳為愛兒所選擇要最好的, 也希望跟同輩小朋友一起成長而不會學壞, 但我們不要認定新移民就是最差了, 這態度要改變! 妳知嗎? 有一些家境富裕小朋友態度好嗎? 我見過不少了. 反而我很欣賞一般小朋友家庭, 他們活得開心, 珍惜自己東西, 珍惜天父給予一切, 加一間好學校教導及老師鼓勵相信這位小朋友將來一定會做個有用的人.  

如果妳選擇英華小學給仔仔, 不要太擔心, 因為事實上沒太多妳所怕新移民, 而且早上妳可以留意很多父母是車出車入送仔仔回校的.

節目中某些小朋友說話的態度和行為, 卻令我不能接受, 好似無家教。
It is not a matter of new immigrants or not. "家教" depends on parents. I was moved by 愛的教育鄧靄霖 in today's 壹週刊.  Well educated parents can also 無家教.

游泳隊不是有兩班嗎?一班逢星期一,五,在九龍灣游,一班二,四,在深水步游,matthew都接到通告,不過他說不游! :cry:
而且游完又要自己接,一星期兩日"甘"多,所以我地都係去club house游下健康水便算!
而初管是否星期一放學後練習,我威迫 :-x 利誘 下,他終於答應參加!

我又介紹多一本課外書給妳仔仔, 不過不是在校內訂的, 是在書攤or 7-11買的, "黑貓x貓"漫畫黎架, 我仔每次睇到哈哈大笑, 入面內容好吸引, 文法ok, 又有成語學, 幾攪笑, 是吸引小朋友開始閱讀書籍其中一種!

Definitely not me as I did not take any transportation this morning.  Hope to see you sometime.  I am thinking organize a BBQ for some 1E families some time later, may be on 14Oct, the date after their first test week.

Yesterday, when my son told me that there were conflicts on the schedule and he was hesitating which one to give up, I was thinking give up swimming as we could swim in the club house (though he always play rather swim in the club house).

Later on, I found that he was selected to represent the school to participate in the Kowloon West Inter-School Competition.  In that case, I must pay my every effort to keep him as fit as possible     .  So he will join 4 swimming practices every week, every Tue/Thur in ShamShuipo and Mon/Fri in KowloonBay.  As he really enjoys to play in the orchestra, I'll ask the music teacher if she could allow him to join back after the competition which is on 28Oct .

BTW, 1 hour swimming with the school teams/classes is really one hour, quite different from when he swim in the club house by himself, he always plays rather than swims .

Last year, we had the same number of tests, but one subject in every two weeks.  So it forces the students to do revision as least every two weeks. I quite like that arrangement.  However, this year the system is changed.  What we could do is to keep regular revision rather than only do revision in the week of test.  As they are P1 students, we, as parents, have to help them to build up the regular revision practice.
