My daughter has entered Sacred Heart eventually la..2008 Sept K1....very happy....but PM class ar...is there any difference between PM and AM class?   Pls give me some advice?  Thanks a lot

Congrats!  You can write to the school and request to change for am.  Cos' there will be give-up at the end.  My daughter's class has 4 or 5 cases like this.

我想請問有無現在係聖心讀0既 小朋友當年是收到 "備取生"信而最後是可入讀的　 ??

因為我囡囡祇係收了08-09 k1備取生, 打去學校問, 她們說有百多人on waiting list 呀 ...

唔知機會有幾多呢 ??

Yes yes...I've faxed and sent out a letter + profile to the principal already today...hope that they could have a slot for my kid soon....my friend recommended me to send it out right away and so I did it today during office hour..hehe...

But is there any difference between AM and PM class' quality?   Thanks ar~~

I don't think there's different between am and pm class.  Each class has 2 class misstress. 1 is main teacher, the other is assistant.  And their role will change for am / pm class.

I want to know this as well. Any SH ma ma can know is there any difference between am and pm class ?

I didn't acknowledge any difference in the 2 classes in the kindergarten level.  The syllibus are the same and the teacher are the same.  the Head teacher and the assistant teacher at the am class will have reversed role in the pm class.

Oh..so they're having quite a good system then...sounds good and creative...I'll wait patiently for am class while letting my kid study in pm class then...    Thanks a bunch~~

To me, the choice of am/pm will depend on the primary school u aimed at.  If u live in Central and Western and want to enter the subvented Sacred Heart Primary in pm, no need to insist to join the am since it's really a hard stuff to get your kid up in the morning at this young age especially in winter.  Yet, if u were like me, living outside Western, non-catholic, without any relationship with the school and nearly hopeless to join the luckily draw, i would put forward to the private Sacred Heart Primary in the morning.  So i chose am kinder to let her start adjusting with the daily routine at her young age.

then keep writing letters to inform the school that u are still eager to get into the am session.  After each registration, school uniform ordering, book ordering, orientation day (the kinder had arrange several events for the newbies) there may be some dropouts.  My girl was allocated to pm also last year (she is a 1126 girl thus too small during her interview), i was offered the change in 4/2008, and i know some girl were  offered to change in 7/2008.

Besides, some of the Sacred Heart kinder boys will apply and to St. Joesph Kinder at their K.2 (as St. Joesph kinder started at K.2) stage and vacancy may be available 1 year later.

各位nca媽咪,家長日當日俾我打左尖嘅真係sorry,原本番上晝預左下晝去,星期5先知下晝都要做,打俾溫老師佢叫我番工前去執死雞,
點知去到d爸媽不知幾準時,老師又好傾,delay左幾個,老師知我趕拿拿臨見左我先,真係唔好意思!sorry sorry!

Yeah, I've also go in front of 1 parents, luckily we know each other lor.  Also, did you notice the photos that post in front of the classroom?  The kids are so happy during their lessons, and my daugter's hair is so 混亂 in the 波波池 photo, I'm sure she goes crazy in it.

Did you have time to meet with other teachers?  I met Mrs Josie, the Eng oral teacher.

YEA,課室門口D相超正,我問過溫老師,佢話校方努力緊,希望遲D多媒體學習平台可以DL 哩D相!(我當日試過用相機影,不過可能我部機太傻瓜,FOCUS唔到)
