Wish everyone have a fun and fruitful year, as this year, we will apply for our kids' primary school...

Maybe this year, it's better to have a clear new year resolution in goal setting for our kids, and or ourselves too...  

Nokmom, how's your house setting?  By now, the move should be settled, yeah??  Anyways, take care as the kids need you more than the new house...

Dear all,

We've moved last Sat!  Within 2 days, we've unloaded all stuff from 40+ boxes, but still need more time to tidy things up.  Moving is such a tiring thing and our major renovation work lasted until the day before our move  :evil: We still have some outstanding things on the house and hopefully they will be cleared soon.  Good thing is that Nok Nok likes that new home very much, esp. his room.  Hope it will help improve his sleeping problem/habits.

Yeah, I was just thinking about the primary school thing this morning, nine more months to go before our kids go for interviews.....

我想問吓你哋, 平日你哋有冇幫小朋友訂學校啲主題書架? 我就一向冇, 唔知需唔需要呢? 仲有你哋揀咗啲乜嘢訂? 我暫時只揀咗 : 普通話書及CD, 主題遊戲書(我之前都冇訂過)同語文遊戲!  唔知仲有冇乜你哋覺得係需要既呢?

I just put all stuff inside the cabinets and cupboard, not really arranging them   We still can't go on-line at home, so need to type English for the time being.

My boss gave me all the story books so I just buy the Putonghua and 1 or 2 more 語文書 . This time I didn't buy 主題遊戲書 b/c I didn't have time to do it with nok nok and just a waste.  I think the 1st term books are better, with those like practice on Chinese strokes etc...

今次我都有訂課本，主題書（可以係放長假期時做），普通話遊戲光碟（費時出去自己搵），但就無訂ｄ益智遊戲（ｋ１試過領野）同埋嗰隻校歌ｃｄ（原來博博一ｄ都唔鍾意唱歌，係屋企聽都無聽過），今次試下訂數學書和遊戲，睇下掂唔掂。
我都同意ｎｏｋｍｏｍ話上學期的中文練習唔錯，起碼深過依家嘅課程，我仲將佢影印多一份做練習

今日學校派什麼兩文三語下午高班既通告, 我已打咗去問郭副校長, 佢話因為有好多家長想啲小朋友上多啲普通話堂, 以便上小學時易啲適應, 所以宜家考慮緊到高班時好唔好開英/粵/普班, 到時三個老師, 一人負責一語言, 但學費唔會有變!

Hi Cyrusmum,

Thanks for telling me about the 英/粵/普班, I am not awared of it.  I have taken some time to relax lately, as I am pregnant again.  So, sometimes I will bring tessie to school just to be closer to her.  And that's the reason for the hair cut too.  

About the text book, I have not even started using the books that we got from first term, I have just become too tired.  

Anyways, just an update from me and I will look into her bag for the notice.

Dear all,

I still can’t go on-line at home so can only do it at office.  Fiancawong, we still haven’t tidy up the things and just put them all in the cabinets, so it’s actually quite messy.  I was trying to organize my own closet on Sat, then may be I was too tired and finally fell sick and got 102F.  
Cyrusmum, thanks for your update on the trilingual thing.  I was thinking to call Ms Kwok today because the notice is too simple and doesn’t tell the reasons or the details.  So will you choose that?

好耐無入來同你傾計喇, 因為最近煩緊菲傭嘅問題, 佢突然間話要返菲律賓, 新工人又唔知幾時來, 真係激死!
我最後幫Kristie選咗全日班, 因為唔想婆婆咁辛苦, 所以無收到你地D通告, 唔知有無影響呢?
我記得PN個年因為我以為全部都係for堂上用, 所以訂哂所有野, 最後擺埋一邊無睇過. 到K1時我無訂書, 因為我鍾意自己買, 加上老師話會借比小朋友上堂用, 所以只訂遊戲同CD, 點知原來D書唔止上堂要用, 重要帶返屋企讀同做功課! 今次我就訂咗書同埋字卡啦.
呀. 差D唔記得同你講, Cyrus聖誕表演套衫真係造得好好呀, 你真係好有心機, 佢著住套衫個樣好cute呀!

你果然能幹, 除咗要預備食物(最厲害嗰煲美味糖水), 佈置場地, 準備玩具及禮物, 仲要主持埋遊戲添! 難得你仲咁從容不迫!  真係要比十個[叻]你呀!

我菲傭1月24日要走, 但我今日仲未知新工人幾時到, agent話因菲律賓新policy要工人考試合格至比出國. 我真係好頭痛, 我要由1月24日開始請假直至新工人到. 不過都好, 可以有多d時間倍吓仔女. 其實平時都係婆婆睇Kristie做功課架, 我放咗工只係check吓, weekend就自己跟返, 唔知係咪自己無耐性, 我覺得睇功課有時都幾勞氣. 請問各位媽咪教小朋友做功課有無咩心得呀?

Nok Nok is definitely a quiet boy, but sometimes I think he's too shy.  He's always afraid to go to a crowd of kids, esp. if they are some very active kids.  As I told you, sometimes I worry if he'll just stick to me and doesn't go to the interviews in Sept for Primary school....

Thanks for the nice party and sorry we had to leave early that day b/c we needed to join Nok Nok's daddy for another gathering with our church friends.

I'm still coughing and I feel my health is not as good as before after this flu.  May be getting old and our machine is....    Nok Nok is also coughing occasionally and I started to give him Yu Yan Sang's "Hau Jo Mut"....Hope it will help to cure his cough

初初開學時, 我都覺得教Cyrus做功課好勞氣,  但後來習慣咗隻眼開, 隻眼閉, 由得佢自己做, 仲有就係唔好要求咁高, 咁就少勞氣好多! 係咪好阿Q?

唔駛擔心! 到九月時佢哋又大個多啲啦! 好多學校都會鐘意noknok啲斯文淡定型, 我聽人講過有學校專登比張有碌既椅比小朋友坐, 我一聽到就代Cyrus擔心啦!
