各位媽咪：

今年林校長安排了Miss Hon和Miss Cheng負責Book Club的事，如有興趣訂書和參加義工工作，請於明天4:00pm左右（4-6年級家長會後）到English Room（1/F）見面。我們會簡單介紹book club運作，如何訂書詳情等等。小朋友如能在8歲前建立良好閱讀習慣，便不怕他們不喜歡閱讀。我們亦希望一年級的家長可以參加，因為你們的小朋友年紀小，可塑性更大，而且book club可訂的書籍很多，最主要是價錢很便宜，希望到時能見到大家！

Book Club有幾樣工作是需要義工媽媽幫忙的。其中一樣是訂書，你有興趣明天來我解釋給你聽，你可做代表負責替這裡小一媽媽接訂單（如果大家有書想訂），集合成一張單再交給我們，跟著有義工負責將訂單分grouping向出版社落單。當書寄到學校，我們的義工會幫手點書和分書，再通知訂書的媽媽取書。還有一些義工媽媽給學校的贈書入電腦紀錄、貼標籤和包書。如果幫手訂書的媽媽，我們希望她略懂用Excel，因為我們每個月也會訂書，所以接單的工作也是一個月一次。

我們的義工媽媽由二年級至六年級也有，因為大家都很忙碌，所以我們參加義工的時間亦很有彈性，很多人未必每星期六也能回校幫手，或每週只可幫忙一個小時，我們也無任歡迎。最受歡迎的工作是包書，因為大家可一邊傾偈一邊包書，又能看到不同種類的書籍。

你回來看看吧！一方面可認識不同年級的媽媽，book club今年的catalogues還列出每本書適合的程度，你有機會帶仔仔來English Room看看他喜歡甚麼書，再讓他從catalogues揀書，好自然就能培養他對英文書籍的興趣。

I want to come tomorrow, but have to find some place to stay after lunch and before 4:00pm. I guess the school will accept my entrance before 4:00pm, right? Can I go into the English room before 4:00pm?

千萬不要對我有甚麼期望。唉！我係一個工作好忙的working mother，好少時間照顧小朋友，都是靠這裡的mama 收料。為了珍惜和小朋友相處的時間，我一般都是等他們睡了，才洗澡，收拾，處理一些事及上網，好可憐

。
不過，下星期放大假，可以好好陪陪他們。

The class teacher called me yesterday and reminded me not to bring kids into the hall this afternoon cos the seats are limited. So not sure whether P1-3 parents can 一齊入禮堂 wor!
