Dear 1C parents,

I am a new comer of this forum, my son also study in 1C, he is a boy.

According to my son's information, the small present (eraser and so on) form Miss Chan are reward for their discipline. Every row will have label if they show good discipline in the class, if they accumulate certain number of labels, then they got small present.

好似不用拍咭，小女話只是上學才拍，放學也不用啊，上個星期六，小女也無拍，課後活動比平日上學遲，紀錄便以為你的小朋友遲到，請向校方講解。

1C家長：
昨日派回中文評估，小女錯在寫字問題，如給字的糹，一定要寫回糹，否則會扣分，她連自己的名字中的樂字，也被老師不正確，共被扣3分，她雖有一枝原筆作獎勵，但我仍是一句，錯在抄寫字體被扣分，仍屬不小心。

We get English E-homework today and the deadline is at 8:00am on 5/10/06.

My daughter said she changed the seat and her neighbour is also a boy.  Hope she can adapt new environment.  How about your child?

Thanks bbloveme. My son said they would change seat every month! He is now sitting between two prefects! Hope he could be more concentrate during lessons!

阿仔有本摘星"報告"(唔係好記得個名，淺藍色細細本的)，請問知唔知幾時先要帶返學校？有什麼用途？

各位SFA家長,

一直以來, 我都覺得仔仔係中, 英, 數方面都唔錯既. 但經過一輪既默書, 評估, 小測後, 我先知道原來我錯左, 個次望住佢英文默書成績得 4分, 我對眼幾乎突左出黎    , 4分!? 我以為我睇錯, 及後雖然知道唔關仔仔事 (因我以為只默生字, 因此並沒有跟他背句子), 第2次Unseen好D, 不過都係唔合梧 (得57 分),   我依家已經放棄搵Part-time Job念頭, 只想搵補習幫佢, 真係好驚, 好驚  

我同仔仔講, 點解會咁架?! 你一向都叻叻架!? 佢話英文佢全部識讀識聽, 但唔識串喎, 又無得選擇, 佢串唔到成個字. 所以我依家好積極咁諗點樣可以幫佢, 死記都唔係辦法, 唔知有無家長知道讀邊種英文課程可以幫小朋友容易串字呢 (佢之前已經讀左好多會話呀, Cambridge Course, LCM Course la)?

我依家都好唔開心呀, 仔仔在校內既成績令我好Down (因太出乎意外), 好希望只係第一個月既適應期啦, 我依家係度調整梗仔仔同我要係SFA學習既態度, 預左要好似打硬仗咁囉..........., 希望仔仔努力D啦.......

Dear shuet_tam,

Don't worry about that. You may try to teach his phonics, so that he no need hard to memorize each word.

In my expenience, i will buy some exercise books for my daughter instead of take a lesson.

Once my English teaches some garmmer, i will give the relavent exercises to her.  Review, Review and Review....., just then  take a exercise test to her and explain more details , like why that words use "s", noun - pl /s n., verb - pt, past t. ppt, pt +ing.

Sometimes, i try to read some story books to her, explain the garmmer and word, and  how to use /apply to them.

你們的小朋友有無報IQ Test呀？幾時去做呀？

I would not do the IQ test because the following:-
1.  it is expensive
2.  my daughter is not intelligent enough and I can find that in her assessment and dictation.
3.  Maybe later is better for her.

本"摘星獎勵計劃"平時不用帶回學校, 在每次學期尾, 老師會叫學生通知家長填寫"學生家庭生活調查", 然後老師會填寫意見及有關學生學習情況在最後一頁. 當每次學段考試後, 老師會叫學生帶回校, 宣佈有關成績及各項表現, 如學生能達到有關要求, 要給回老師查閱及簽名. 每完成一個階段, 學校會頒發獎章及證書以示鼓勵!

我就叫仔仔自己用mp3機錄音, 然後聽番自己默, 一來佢自己睇過, 有印象容易入腦, 二來開始要慢慢放手比番d責任佢, 而且平時默書又唔計分, 比佢慢慢自己練習,  妳留番d時間心機同佢溫gs & literature好過......
不過我都教左好耐個仔錄音, 依家中英文默書,gs評估都可以自己溫習!
