the other day, my daughter removed all the paper from the toilet paper roll and said to us, she need the paper roll for schoolwork

They'd learnt 「互」yesterday. My son said it means shaking hands with the one sitting opposite and helping each other.

They sang the song "Humpty Dumpty".

Learnt English opposite words Tall/Short, Thick/Thin, This/That.

Yes, my son also told me that they'll learn Chinese sentences soon.

This morning I was just reminded to sign back the dictation/mental papers.  I forgot to sign back for twice already.

My son also said they started to learn addition yesterday.  It's simple, just adding 1 for numbers between 1 to 10.

Heard from other thread that they've started English spelling but my son said their class hasn't started yet.  Maybe it'll start from 2nd term as said by Ms. Lee during orientation.

After reviewing the assessment papers received yesterday, can't believe that they're papers targeting for K2!

Received the Show & Tell notice today. Calix's topic is "冬天".

Calix finished his show & tell today and got 3 stamps.  I'd practised a few times with him.  He said Ms. Lee asked him to have shorter presentation next time.

everytime i received KV assessment paper, i always shocked.  For my elder son (k3), the Eng paper already has simple comprehension.

My son recited the 加數表 tonite: 1加1是2, 2加1是3...7加3是10.  He recited those equations with sum equals or below 10.

the quality of education at Kentville is really good. In other kindergarten, I would guess they havent touched additions at this stage in K2

Btw, when adding say 6+2, Ms. Lee asked them to "circle" 6 first (i.e. the greater no.) and then count 2 forward from that greater no. to have the answer 8.  This helps them to calculate faster.

My son said there should be a parent-child colouring work this week but I can't find it in his art bag nor school bag.  My son insisted that he saw Ms. Lee having put inside the art bag.  Have your kids got this piece of colouring work?

P.S. He described there's a santa claus distributing christmas gifts.

Yesterday they wrote the word 來.  My son told me that Ms. Suen taught them to write 橫，直 first b4 writing the 2 人 (different from 印簿叔叔).  I asked him several times and he insisted....and therefore I let him write in that way.  What about your kids?

Apart from K2A, they had music class with 2O & 2I yesterday.  I asked him why and he said coz Christmas is coming.  　They sang Jingle Bells in the class.  My son always said Ms. Fong plays the piano very well.  One day, when he's practising a new song ("Mickey Waltz"), he told me that Ms. Fong played that song b4 when playing games with them.


My son still can't remember the lyrics of 小白兔 (he just know the tune).  Does anyone know?
