Little_Princess,

No rush to make the move!

The safest way is the observe your daughter’s actual adaptability to the current timetable and see how it goes in the first 2-3 months.

Yes, actually, the property market climbed to high in these 2 months.  I dare not to commit anything right now.

However, the school ECA are really attractive.  I really don't want to miss any chance. haha....

Could you share what ECA your kids pick at school?

Ar... forget to tell you where I live.  I live in Tiu Keng Leng.  My daughter needs to get on the school bus at 7:15am ( about 30 mins ride from Tiu Keng Leng to TSL).  I regard it as acceptable.

I'm sure that is acceptable if you know that we live in Sham Shui Po and need to get on the bus at 7:13...

I'm the PTA member of my son's kg w/ps and monitoring the school bus service in the past 2 years. And I can't imagine this will happen in TSL...

I got no choice to choose the school bus service because I still have a K2 little princess who will not take the school bus this year. Is really headache for me...

ha... silvia, I've also got a little princess of K2 that really make me a headache when I make the decision whether to move to Olympic or not.  If I decided to move to Olympic, there would no school bus for my little princess.  I need to change her kindergarten. ...

I actually I applied 3 kindergartens for her in Olypmics.  She got accepted but she told that she wants to stay in her original school.  I think I shouldn't ask her to give way for my elder daughter.

Finally, I stay in my original place .....

I think the school bus pick-up for normal school hour is fine.  However, if they have ECA in school until 5:30pm, it would be a problem.  It is really difficult to arrange the logistics of 2 kids!!

If I were you, I will let the little one to change her school. Because I’m sure the time schedule will be very tight for a primary school’s students. Homework, ECAs, revision, dictation, sleeps early…. Bla bla bla…
I may not join the school ECA just because of the school bus service. They only got 4 drops point which is MeiFoo, TsangYi, TaiWai, and TsuenWan.
Your daughter is going to study in P.1 in coming Sept? Hope we might meet each other on 29 Aug. =)

flostangraphy,

1)  Please DO NOT change your login name as we may not be able to recognize you in future!!

Also, I believe your current login name has special meaning to your family!

2)  I think you have already attended the Open Day and the previous P1 admission talk.
Therefore, you should have known what you need to know.

By not attending the upcoming one, you are actually very considerate to other parents who have not attended such event before.

3)  Yes, I have also noticed the number of applicants so far.
The number of applicants is somewhat higher than that received on the first 2 days of last year.

Personally I guess there should be a record high for the number of applicants this year, due to one prime reason of higher birth rate for babies born in 2004.

Let’s see what the final figure will be after the deadline.

4)  You still owe us the souvenirs after your summer vacation!

We are still expecting to see your “tons of vacation photos”.

Too busy at work and have no time to upload them yet!! :;pppp:

wish that the interviewers would able to see his potential and talent...

flostangraphy,

Don’t worry!

You should train up your sons to act as the bridge in further enhancing the Sino-French relationship in future.

As they can speak some French, English, Cantonese and Mandarin now and if time permits, you may encourage them to learn basic Japanese as
the 5th language.

At least, they can be quite good translators when they grow up.

I remember you mentioned before that girls like to chase up boys who speak French with some Chinese accent somehow!!!
