我個囡鍾意有小朋友陪，但我覺得繼續學遲早都要單對單架啦。
不過，而家係Yips又會有啲機會表演下，真係心大心細....

Hi Everybody,

我個仔(剛剛五歲)，在暑假時開始學小提琴1:1, 老師上門,學了約3個月，沒有興趣，又唔肯練琴。所以停了。

聽講葉氏的小提琴班不錯，雖然貴些，也即管一試。剛上了二堂，老師真的不錯，但人真的太多，進度比較慢，但希望囝囝會開心些，有心機上堂，因有我及其他小朋友陪。
你們對葉氏的意見如何？

又我囝囝之前的老師幫他買了個1/8琴，但又說大了少少，咁我見個琴唔係太貴，就買了多個1/10 size的給他。
現在葉氏的老師又話1/8 size OK.有無人有興趣那個1/10 size的(9成新)，現平讓$200.00，有意請PM我，有想睇。

我囡囡都喺Yips學緊，而家第5個月，一班有7pair人。事實上太多了，如果可以一班係4pair或以下就比較好。

我囝囝係佐敦葉氏，返星期日，Teacher是石博士。你呢？聽講葉氏有個老師姓李，佢好好，佢個班收得特別多，成12-13個小朋友，佢而家教緊康怡星期日5:00-6:00pm，我覺得太遠啦！名師都係咁話。

你囡囡學佐5個月，學成點？識拉歌味？佢幾多歲？會唔會繼續學？

I quited Yip's already.  There're 8 pairs, really too crowded although the teacher is good (Ms Mak).

My son is now learning 1-1 in a piano shop but the teacher (male) comes from China, his Cantonese is not very good, a little difficult for us to hear what he says.

I think it's a good idea but my son is in P1 and he doesn't have enough time!

Hello MomMom,

My girl is in the Kornhill centre, the teacher is Ms Zhang. I think there are at most 8 pairs per class.
She is now playing the #132 song of  "篠崎". Are we using the same book?

How much is your son's class now? Where is the centre? Can you join in the class? I'm still struggling to change. Headache! :-|

Hi bb2001,

What is "篠崎"?  My boy is using the violin book from Yip's.  The books call Yip's elementary course for the violin Book 1 A & B.  Are you finished those 2 books already?  Do you satisfy the progress of your daughter?

Our class is using "篠崎" which I also bought from Yips, the cover is red in colour and call something like "Violin beginner".
BTW, my girl is 7 years old, I can see her improvement after joining Yips, but it might be due to everyday practice from that time.
In fact, my girl has been learning violin for 8-9 months in school and it is now still on going.

My son is now learning in Tsing Mui Piano Shop (it's along Hong On Street when you walk up to Yips).  The cost is $600 for 45 minutes for 4 class.  I attended the class with him so I have to pay 10% on top i.e. total $660.  I am still observing if the teacher (male at his 50's I guess) is OK or not.

My son's previous teacher in Yips is good (Ms Mak) but only problem is the class size is just too big.

Does your girl join the Yip's beginner course (for children without learning violin & need parents to accompany)?  Does your girl use the books call Yip's elementary course for the violin book 1 A & B before using "篠崎"?   Did she finish that two books?  Please share.

我囝囝剛剛五歲,佢之前學過3個月piano因為老師是part time的成日改時間搞到囝囝無乜心機. 我想比佢試o下學小提琴, 請問是否要有鋼琴底子才會學得好呢? 我住銅鑼灣, 那一間比較好呢?
