May I know the link of website notice of  英華小學 you mentioned.  I went to http://www.yingwaps.edu.hk/ but can't find any notice.  Thanks for your instruction.

Actually the school notices/circulars are placed in INTRANET which is accessible by students and parents with passwords only.
However, I remember some important announcements such as enrolments of transferees, if any, would be pop-up on the main front page of the school website which is accessible by the public.
Anyway, you can come to this topic from time to time for further info which parents will share.

Congratulation!.  My son will also study in P1 starting coming Sep.  See if they are in same class.  We could share the information.  

I bought the SPI Ying Wa school bag (the green one) for my son from the SPI shop in YauMaTei, not sure if they still have stock.  There were only a few left in my last visit.

Hello all YW parents,

By the grace of the Lord my son is very lucky to get a seat in YW and we are all very excited to join the YW family.

Special thanks to Mayc, when I saw the message that you prayed for the forthcoming YW families, my heart was deeply touched.

Good headmistress + good teachers + good parents in YW, plus the guiding of our Lord, how fortunate our sons can grow in such an environment.

There are some questions that I would like to ask:

1. I originally plan to bring lunch to my son everyday, but Snoopy MH said that they make lunch fresh in school without MSG, so if everybody eat the food made in the school, or some parents are still sending lunch everyday? Do you think the lunch provided by school is healthy and delicious?

2. Does the school provide fresh water to the boys, or do they need to bring their own bottles?

3. I saw from the YW web that there are 拔尖/補底班 after school, when will that start? 2nd term of P1?  Can these pupils still take school bus?  Will the school bus wait for the pupils on Friday when they have extra-curricular activities? Are there many pupils picking up by parents?

4. Are all extra-curricular activities free or do we have to pay extra?

5. Can pupils stay in the school freely (in library or playground) after class?

6.. Other than the assessment report day & parents day, do the parents always have chances talking to the teachers and headmistress face to face in casual occasions?

Peter also asked me to buy SPI Ying Wa school bag for him (his existing one is torn). Where is this SPI shop in YauMaTei?

Shall we go to concert together some time? There will be a 'students concert' by a piano teacher of a bk mom in Sept.

提意小朋友上1樓展覽館入口時,記得取card影相做登記呀, 答哂d問題, 到尾有部機幫你計分, 仲可以send 到自己個email account到架! 我仔玩得好投入呀!

For the SPI YW school bag, 請致电2708 2078陳小姐 to check if there is any stocks left and ask her the address.  I got the information from a school intranet email, an email sent by 鄺副校長 in Mar06.

Concert ... yes, I would sure go if time matched.

唔好意思呀, 入來打攪下各位英華家長
本人住屯門區的
細仔今年升讀K2
他讀K1 時, 搭完西鐵經過"英華"小學
已對英華小學"一見鐘情",常問我那是什麼
學校? 我便告訴他"英華學校"是一間好出名
的學校, 問他"你喜歡讀嗎?" 他二話不說 "媽咪
我鐘意讀英華呀, 它好大和好靚呀..."
以後問他讀邊間小學, 他總會答"英華小學..."
(給他笑死吧..."
但由於我地沒有任何宗教信仰, 又不是校友, 他又
是第二名小孩, 入讀機會微乎其微,,但作為一個媽
咪又怎會放棄每一個入讀的機會呢?
請各位高手教教路可以嗎?
我已安排了小朋友學劍擊, 一些英語和普通話學習班給
他, 作為傍身之用

希望大家可以指教我一些寶貴意見..謝謝

Hi,

I wanna learn more about Ying Wa PS. Is English sufficient and difficult (P1 kids studying P1 or even higher level English books?) at Ying Wa? Is it hard for P1 kids to adapt to Chinese lessons (taught in Putonghua)?

各位:
剛去完5日北京旅行回來,感謝主雖然5天都有雨,但仍然可以去各景點參觀,去長城那天,我們一家同心禱告,去之前兩小時都在下大雨,但到達後巳停雨,而且仲好天到出太陽,那是上北京唯一一天著短袖衫的一天!

巳經上網看了分班,matthew唔同JP,8Gu,csk的囝囝一班,到時無人提我班上的要事,點算呀?

好消息:校長send mail給matthew說,4C班張愷彥從兩千多名候選小朋友中脫穎而出，入選○六年美國萬通小太空人訓練計劃，成為六名入選「小太空人」之一!8月會去美國受訓!恭喜!恭喜!
