I've interviewed on 26/1/08.
However, my daughter was unwilling to interview by herself, so she was struggling, pull us and want to cry (but not cry actually) in the interview room. Finally, the nice teacher let me to sit with her and she can answer all questions correctly.
Is this no chance to accept us?
Any your daughter's classmate has similar case?

Dear Wunstar,
I don't know your chance actually. I didn't talk with the parents of my daughter's classmates about the interview. From K1 till now, I think most of them are so smart than my daughter.  

Take it easier! Many and many kindergartens are quality schools also, not only SPK.

What's your name?
Are you a girl or a boy?
Identify body parts like eye, ear, nose...
The teacher ask her what some household items are, for examples, a toothbrush and a towel etc.

唔該晒。其實我嗰日聽到囡囡講"男仔" 兩個字, 其他就乜都聽唔到。唔緊要啦, 我都預咗係咁上吓 (佢係細女, 12月出世), 佢嗰日肯自己跟老師已經係意料之外, 平時佢見到陌生人就一定會"次"實我嫁喇。

Will most of the PM classstudent got promoted to SPC? Or the chance is slightly lower than the AM classor it is more less the same?

轉上am, 等於0機會, 因為spk set 了哂架啦.. 係無咩可能比你轉am.  我亦未聽過有成功個案

升上spc, 大家機會一樣, 我女都係pm class, 一樣升入spc, am 同pm 係一樣既... 之前我都以為多數收哂am 既, 不過以我最後所知, 並不如此, am 都有人唔收既.

pm 都好開心架... 唔好介意am or pm, 反之我覺得pm 返學, 好用時間好多tim... 上小一又唔怕有午睡習慣...

Thanks for your reply, can you tell me about the % to be  promotedto SPC? more than 80%? (just want to have a rough idea..)

So you mean that your girl has skipped afternoon nap, I am not sure if I should do this, I will do one of the followings:

1. let her have a nap from 5pm to 7pm and sleep at 11pm  and get up at 8-9am or

2. not to let her to have a nap and make her go to bed at 8pm and get up at 8-9am

What is your daughter's practice? I guess it may be changed as she gets older (more sleep when she is young)

One last question, does your daughter love reading? does the school have a reading scheme to encourage the student to read?

唔好意思, 幾日無入來... 依架才答你...

我唔知實際有幾多人唔收, 不過以我聽回來, 都係大約10個8個架姐... 比例上唔多, 相反地, 比少少信心你... 離場唔讀spc 既人反而唔少...... 因為有好多同學仔都考上了更名既名小學.... 所以唔好太擔心上spc 既問題

至於我囡囡既午睡問題, 我囡囡係k1 開學時, 開初既2個月佢係好倦既, 初時, 一放學, 出了校門, 已經叫我抱佢sleep 架啦., 不過我囡囡因為習慣早睡早起 (9點上床, 7點半起身), 所以我會叫佢早上10點睡一陣11點半叫佢起身食lunch, 不過此方法都係行了2個月左右, 因為佢都唔多想睡 (可能唔慣上午sleep 太多啦)...

之後我囡囡係k1既聖誕節前, 已經沒有了任何早上sleep 一陣or午睡了... 反之佢全日都好精神, 下午4點半放完學之後, 有時仲去學下野tim... or 去中央圖書館玩下...

而佢到今日為止, 都係9點半上床, 8點前起身... 所以佢可以上午出去學課外野,下午返學... 有時仲放學後去圖書館做功課玩下tim

至於學校對於讀書既問題... 絕對不用擔心... 我囡囡十分之愛睇課外書, 我可以敢講, 唔係我女係咁.. 個個同學仔都係咁, 因為spk 好encourage 小朋友睇書, 有每日一書既習慣, 仲有個個月都要佢地講故事比同學仔聽... 而聽既同學仔又要發問問題... 大家會有d交流架...

學校既課程係比較淺, 不過會要求小朋友多看書... 以我囡囡來講, 佢至現在.. 我唔敢講小一之後啦.. 因為無咩時間... 佢一年睇多過500本書... 因為學校教佢地每日至少一書... 即係至少有365本.. 仲未加埋佢地主動睇個d 呢....
