唔該曬, 但有本叫做常識書(中文果本)係咪GS常帶, 真係唔好意思, run左成兩個禮拜都攪唔清

暑期班完了之後, 大家都靜晒.

開學大家都好忙吧, 又要早起, 又要簽一堆堆通告.
黙書,測驗~~~~~ 學科比幼稚園又多了很多.收拾書包都要考起即是帶物野呀????小朋友都同大人都要適應.

亞仔講冇1個老師惡, 佢返學都幾開心, 不過要佢守紀律都幾辛苦, 我見d  老師都好nice 好細心,好包容, 接放學都有講下亞仔上堂點

中文黙書剛開始比較容易, ~~~~但今天派回來的堂上中作, 都幾深wow.!!!!!!!

英文黙書, 我的讀音沒有亞仔的標準,因此我叫佢用個錄音,每句讀3次自已黙.都ok.~~~~唔知英作又會點?????

數學小測3個chapter好淺, 不過亞仔都冇看題目就做果2題深d 的題目都錯晒.!!!!


另外想問下你地是如何被挑選參加校際, 老師選or  自已同老師講?

有空大家一起上來分享一下.

my boy is very weak in memorizing the English words. he just know the phonics of a-Z. then he dictates the words like that,'But'..............BBBBt. then write the word 'Bt'. finished. 'started'...........sssddddtd. then write the word 'sdtd'.poor me.
read many times and copy many times, no word can work out.

Hi Sallychs

Maybe u can try to ask yr boy to draw a picture about the word, eg. 'bite' he can draw a fish bite the tail then he may remember the story about bite and memorize the word 'bite'.  My hubby asked my son to do like that and he got 100 marks both in Eng & Chi dictation.  Hope it can help!

So is my kid, Sallychs.

And I'm considering to give up dictation if I've to keep spending too much time on this issue with doubtful learning effect. With the same amount of time, a kid can read a lot of other books and join many other activities.

I'll try this way, though I guess the effectiveness on my kid would be half as yours.

Your kid is very smart. 100, a dream mark!

I agreed "kindergarten & primary school look like heaven & hell respectively".
My son start to understand that "dictation is part of his life" but he complaint that he has no energy to play after finish all the homework and dictation.

I am a bit worried as there are more activities in October, how can he strike the balance of playing and studying.

my kid complains the same.

I also doubt about the learning effect of these frequent and difficult (ie, not closely applicable to daily life) dictations.

I know another kid in another 1st rank school, which has few dictations. That kid is happy, with much time in reading various books, joining various school activities, enjoying school life very much. That school focuses on applications (hence focuses more on worksheets and exercises), not memorising (dictation).

Each school has slightly different methodology but most school has dictation. We have to trust the school. Think positively, your kid will be be happy if he can get high marks in dictation.

mrs. yeung and mrs. tong 都好好人對小朋友好細心, 關心, 只是佢地對學生有要求要佢地守紀律, 我都同佢地傾過下小朋友問題, 佢地都有follow up.
