The purpose is to have 1 bag for all belongings. So the kid can hold 1 bag with 1 hand and free up the other hand to hold staircase handrail. If you don't have snack bag, I would suggest you buy him one. This bag will help him to keep all loose items in one place and lower the chance of loosing it. My son lost 4 water bottles and 2 snack boxes during his 1st month in P1 last year.   But, since he used the snack bag, the situation improved so much.

不用太擔心,我仔仔都一樣唔知普通話老師講咩,但我相信老師唔會由得佢地聽唔明就算,佢只係俾學生習慣吓上堂嘅情況,話哂只係第一個星期啫 .

For the past few days, my kids always brough his workbook to school.  Does he really need to?  Or would the teacher remind them in class (definatelly not on his assignment book)?  It is so heavy for them to carry it everyday.  

By the way, how about the "Steps to better grammar"?  Does he have to carry it as well (for Eng. class)?

Hi Aardvark,

You mean carry all the workbooks?
My son didn't do that.
I will let him bring the workbook of the corresponding subject only. For example, Maths book 1 and Maths-workbook 1....
Seems some of the classes will collect the student's workbooks, but my son's class didn't.

No, no, no.  Just those subjects that he have to attend on that day.  Still, I personally find that it is way too heavy for a 6 years old kid.  What makes me further frustrate is that the good old grammar book     I don't expect that they will use it anytime soon.  Yet, teachers don't bother tell the kids if they would need it on the next day or so

Seems we all face the same issue (1A and 1F).  What I will do tonight is that I'm gonne to drop a note on the assignment book and ask the teacher to clarify it

Seems all PE teachers need two sessions to brief all the rules.  Yesterday, my kid have his third lesson on PE and they were, at last, allow to run around.

My son said that their teacher told them that only ONE parent is allowed to attend tomorrow's gathering.  Is this true?

Dear All,

My boy (1B) told me they hv PE in the 'Hall' and can running around, didn't mention other activities.

For their Computer lesson, he said no need to bring the text book, same as other class ??

Tmrw is our first Parent's meeting, maybe we can get answer for all our quries.

I have checked with the school.  They said the parents will meet the headmaster in the hall first and then will see the class teacher in the classroom.  They wish only on parent to attend the gathering; otherwise, there won't be sufficient seats.
