We did the the following last year:

1. In black and white on the student's handbook as you have mentioned.

2. By phone.

Once the class teacher was able to recognise our look, we sometimes picked up our kid on a whim.  Of course we must arrive before 14:55 if we do not do 1 or 2.  Otherwise, the school will just send your kid to the school bus or nanny bus.

For the first time, you'd better call the shool to confirm whether identity proof is necessary.

One thing I have missed to mention.  If you inform the school in black and white, make sure the class teacher has read your message.  She will sign back in the column next to the remark.  If not and it is too urgent, just call the school directly.

有無作天選了A餐的小朋友家長, 有趣事分享:

媽咪: 今天的漢堡飽好吾好食呀?
囝囝: 因為飽遲了到所以無得食.
媽咪: 咁有咩餸代替呢?
囝囝: 都有漢堡, 菜等等 (即漢堡飽內之餡).
媽咪: 吾緊要下次再order呢.
囝囝: 好呀, 我今日和另一同學有添意大利粉呀.
媽咪: d意大利粉一定好好味呢.
囝囝: okay好味架, 不過同學話去再添時可能d(飽)會到了便可以食漢堡飽law.

此時我和爸爸都笑了(只是微笑), 怕他覺尷尬.  但心想其實他的同學真係好正面, 因嬸嬸說未到不等於吾到.  可能真係會遲d到呢.  令我想起"希望在明天的廣告".   

不過每當我聽囝囝的校內生活點滴都好開心及看到他們由天真到有思考la.

My daughter likes the school life and she also enjoys the lunch. I am also happy to hear she likes the classteacher Miss Ho who always gives the stickers to students for good performance. She can also read to me the Chinese and English activities papers after school.

Hope your children can enjoy the school life as well ! Keep sharing

yes, my son told me the things no.21 did everyday.  Today, he said no.21 is so famous that the principal is going to know him too.  

BTW, what is the no. of your son ar?? Ryan is 29.

Hello,

大家好！我個囝囝都唔係好肯講係學校發生的事俾我知。佢第一日返學回來的感受就係，校長、老師及校車姨姨都好惡，雖然佢沒有被人鬧，但係都唔係好鍾意。佢唔適應由幼稚園俾老師呵護到家陣小學要被老師管教，第二朝一早起身，佢就同我講唔想讀高主教，我梗係同佢講唔得啦，不過，佢都無同我堅持話唔讀。

另外有一天佢擦損咗少少（真係好小事）佢就好似好大件事咁同人講自己損咗，但係佢話老師唔理佢，只係得啲大哥哥嚟睇吓佢。

到昨晚我問佢返學開心嗎？佢話開心，不過都係老師好惡。

Dn't worry la; my son cannot tell me their names too.  He can tell me the class no. of his friends only, but no name for them.  He always said that he forgot or don't know their names.
